Who actually has PTSD
Ok I just am genuinely curious about this.
So my story is, a close friend was drunk and tried to choke me to death. I had to stab his 2 times and then drive him to the hospital at knife point. The cops came, had multiple court appearances, judge declared it self defense (which is right, i had heavy bruising on my neck by the time the cops arrived) so I am currently undiagnosed but for sure suffer from something. I felt like a invincible badass for about 3 months after it happened. Then 3 months later the nightmares started. Usually someone I trust stabs, shoots, runs me over.... everything slowly goes black as I lay there, flea, scream... then i wake up with harsh sweats, highly elevated heart rate etc.... I dont trust people much anymore. Im much more prone to anger being a first response now, which is the opposite of how I was. I dislike large crowds, going into public. Anytime someone walks behind me while im at the urinal peeing, my body instantly stops peeing until they pass. So for sure I suffer from something, but is it really PTSD. Like PTSD is for soldier I feel...
