I’m in a position now where I’m dating a guy and have been seeing him for quite a while now, part of me wants his friends and family to know I’m trans so I’m not having to make up lies if questions come about me carrying his babies in the future or lying/not being completely honest about my past and childhood but then part of me thinks it’d be nice for them to just know me as me and not just a trans person. So I’m kinda split think there are pros and cons but I was wondering what everybody else’s reasons would be to be one way or the other?

Me (27 F) and 29 M bf have been dating for 7 months now. I want to preface this by saying I have complete trust in him and know he wouldn’t be doing stuff behind my back but the other day I noticed he was following some girls on IG and liking their posts (they popped up as suggested people for me to follow) they’re non influencers / just regular girls that live nearby that he isnt friends with but they follow each other and like each others posts. Part of me felt a bit icky and questioned whether to mention anything to him, but then i took a step back and thought it may come across as a bit controlling so i havent mentioned anything. That leads me to my next question, do you think it’s inherently bad for a guy to be following local IG accounts of girls and liking their posts if hes in a relationship? I just don’t get what someone’s motivation would be to do this to girls they aren’t friends with/aren’t related to when in a relationship?
