My Experience on the Apps

I just wanted to post here to share my experience as a WF who is actively dating right now. In the course of about a month I've matched with all kinds of men. So far, the Asian men I've matched with have been the only ones to actually ask me out on an actual date. All the White, Black, and Latino guys I've matched with usually let the conversation die and never actually make it to the date. Just wanted to show my appreciation for the AM community for being men of action! At least in my very limited sample lol. ❤️

Help! Do I need to call a Professional?

Thank you in advance for any help you're able to give. I just bought a townhouse recently. I was doing laundry when there was a pop, and my light went out. The pop tripped the whole breaker, but I Googled it and read that it can sometimes happen. I assumed the bulbs just went out, so I replaced them and thought nothing more about it.

The next day, the brand-new bulbs also blew out. So I did some investigating and discovered that the fixture could possibly be bad. It did look a bit crusty, and after I removed it, I could tell the black wires were in bad shape (see attached photo).

Over the weekend, I tried to wire in a new flush-mount LED fixture. Before installing it completely flush, I flipped the breaker on to make sure that the light actually turned on (it did), and then I went to finish mounting it, but I didn't turn the breaker back off. Once I moved the light, it immediately popped again and tripped the breaker. So I just took it down. I will say, maybe I didn't tighten the wires enough because it was a little too easy to pull them apart.

My question is, did I just wire this light wrong, and I need to try again with tighter connections? Is it normal to get a short like that when you move a light? Is it a bigger problem, like a circuit problem, that I need to call a professional for? Any help is much appreciated.

UPDATE: I tried again with tighter connections and we are good to go! It works!
