The map evaluation phase is now in full swing, which means it's time to showcase the maps submitted to this year's MapMaker Contest! Every few days, I’ll be sharing screenshots from one of the maps. The first one in alphabetical order is a Polish map titled "Dwa brzegi". What do you think of it?

MapMaker contest - 2nd stage

🔥MapMaker Enters the Review Phase!

Over the past few months, our mapmakers have been working tirelessly to perfect their scenarios. Now it's time to hand the spotlight over to the community, who will decide which map deserves to win!

You'll have 4 full months to play and review the maps (until October 31, inclusive).

📓A Few Statistics

A total of 20 scenarios have qualified for the contest:

  • 18 HotA maps
  • 1 SoD map
  • 1 RoE map

This year's map sizes are distributed as follows:

  • S – 1
  • M – 7
  • L – 7
  • XL – 5

As every year, we'll be rewarding not only the creators of the best maps, but also the most active reviewers! Heroes-themed mugs, calendars, and other surprise goodies are waiting for you.

🎯Prediction Challenge!

Which maps will come out on top? Dust off your crystal balls and make your predictions!

From July 1 to July 9, you'll have time to browse all the contest entries and pick the three maps you believe will finish on the podium. You'll be able to submit your predictions from the same page that hosts the list of contest maps.

The participant whose prediction comes closest to the final results will also receive a special Heroes-themed souvenir!

🎇In Summary

All that's left to do is download the maps, embark on your adventures, and share your thoughts by writing reviews afterward.

Remember that well-reasoned reviews help mapmakers improve their skills and are an important part of the competition. We also encourage you to stream your playthroughs and share links to your broadcasts on the forum.
