Your take on Mahindra Thar?Goated Aura or Stereotypical goon car

I was binging Undekhi S4 and saw Rinku's black thar got curious about it, I read a few articles online, then stumbled across memes what is it about the car that has given it a dangerous reputation?is it the vehicle or the specific category of customers it appeals to? Matlab, there is a stereotype around this car: avoid the one that has black-tinted glasses and never try to bump into it. Is this a general consensous what do you think?

New Verna Facelift Vs New City Facelift, what would you choose??? Justify

Verna facelift is priced around 10.98 lakhs ex-showroom for the base variant, while City Facelift starts at 12 lakhs. The City has the added advantage that the zx+ variant eHEV option is available, offering pure electric and hybrid modes. Soo..What will you choose and why? Also, will this impact the second-hand market of both cars?

Ristedars and Car advice

Recently stumbled across this short on youtube and its like basically what happened when we chose to buy a second hand car,I was fresh out of diploma, usually people love when parents get boys their first car,in my case it was as if arey ladki hai,get her one after marriage,I had already passed my driving test,I have had relatives tell me let your cousin brother drive because there are more people in car,he had never been to a driving school, long story short we bought a Tiago a second hand one because we already had a City,my dad needed it for work commute so for me to get confident and for my mom to run her daily market errands[she has spondilitis],we got the Tiago,I researched on the safety ratings and everything and then got it online from Spinny,I was clueless about paperwork and everything so paying more to get that taken care of me sounded ok to me as me and my dad both didn't have time and had a hard time trusting local dealers,we had a budget of 5 lakhs we did end up spending slightly more around 5.6 or something but it was fine,we were going for swift initialy but for mom tiago was comfortable, while driving and we all made the purchase, chachi is like second hand car ke liye apne puja kyu rakhi,I don't get it while its acceptable that we consult family in some matters, they need to know that its not always right to advice people we knew that we could get a new tiago by investing more but we didnt have the excess capital and my parents had just finished off the home loan emi,so another loan sounded horrible at that point ,but what do you think have you been through something similar?and like why do we have to justify purchasing a second hand car or home?
