Dry red beans soaked overnight and cooked in beef broth, tomato, onion and garlic with white rice, egg fried in butter and some tomatoes and cucumbers from my garden.

I’ve been doing 16:8 for 3 1/2 months consistently. I find it very easy and haven’t missed a day. I’m down 26 pounds from 180 to 154 with 14 pounds to go on a whole food diet. With that success I was hoping my recent bloodwork would show a drop in my A1C which was 5.8 six months ago. But it only went down to 5.6. The weight has been coming off easily that I thought it would be the same with the A1C. Is it supposed to be this slow and will it keep coming down or is it stuck there?
This is a take out lunch special from a restaurant and it doesn’t have a label.

My husband is the egg maker in our house. Whenever I boil eggs they get that green ring around them. His always turn out great.
