animating emission based on colour

hi all.
probably a long shot, but i thought i’d give it a go.
i’ve got the attached texture for some of my ships, as the “impulse” engines.
what i’d like to know, is if there i any way i can somehow separate the colours, i think there’s only 3/4 different colours, and have them each attached to a different emission shader, so that i can use a driver to basically have each colour pulse at different rates?

19hrs of my life down the drain!

Crashed 800 frames from the end, but at least the fire looks better! 3800 in total! Biggest and most ambitious render I've tried so far.

based on the , successful, Constitution class, she was commissioned for the Romulan war, sacrificing the Constitution's range, maneuverability and top speed for more shield emitters, more firepower and greaster durability.

sadly, the war ended before too many were produced, but the few that were made made a vast difference on the front lines.

Based on a concept by Kenneth Emerson

i can't wait to give her a coat of paint!

Recreating the Titan - A and Intrepid scene from ST Picard

managed to get, most of, the kinks out of this, so i'm happy so far.
i do have another version rendering with higher samples and denoising, as well as one or two more tweaks.
thought i'd put it up for people to see!
