Should Lolita’s ult be reworked?

Should Lolita’s ult be reworked?

Everytime I use Lolita, I can’t find a really good scenario where I can reliably use it all the time, sure its a good stun and you can release it early but not being able to make full use of it is kinda bothering me.

This skill was also pretty strong way back then when people combined her ult with flicker as a surprise, but now that most globals use her with flask and revitalize, her playstyle changed a lot to the point where her ult doesn’t really fit it.

I do wish they make a version where its more consistent to hit and make full use out of. As of right now, I’m mostly using it as a long ranged stun when people are running or when I need to activate flask and ult is my only option left.

You only notice the “jiggle physics” if you’re looking for it. ZZZ barely scratches the surface of being a “gooner game”

u/Belerick-chan — 5 days ago

Why are people so bothered by ZZZ’s “jiggle physics”?

If you actually play ZZZ, the jiggle physics is usually not something you focus on, and acts as more of an animation style for the game.

For the longest time ZZZ’s animation style loves to use squash and stretch to make their cutscenes and animations livelier and it makes ZZZ’s animation feel unique from other gacha games.

Like genuinely I feel like these people only see clips that are ONLY about the jiggle physics, like that one MODDED Seed clip floating around on twitter.

I swear to god I genuinely don’t get HSR players who slander ZZZ when their gameplay is just auto-battle.

NEVER pick Helcurt here

So they’re adding new battlefield effects and one of them provides vision on a nearby hidden enemy, which is honestly awesome and will probably make tank roam less necessary to provide vision and allow support roamers to be picked more in this map.

However Helcurt is absolutely going to be crippled here.

Is Popol Roam back?

Popol is finally synergistic with both PHYSICAL and DEFENSE items, making his builds more flexible, not only that, Kupa now has an AoE CC that can be played aggressively and he now has mobility and sustain to save himself when he gets caught.

His traps has now been increased to 4 and can reduce physical defense which is kinda insane, not only he can open the map but he can increase your team's damage.

As a roamer main who tried other MOBAs, 2v2 Laning is more fun than Roaming

This is coming from someone whos been playing Roamer for 9 years, before it was even a thing.

MLBB is the main MOBA I play, but I tried a tiny bit of other MOBAs like HoK and League, and honestly, I really like 2v2 laning and its making me tired of roaming.

The picks are more flexible, League’s meta has a nice balance of engagers, enchanters and even mage supports. HoK also has a good balance between tanks, supports and mage roamers. Its just a nice change of pace going away from frontliner picks in MLBB due to how the Roam role operates.

Roam in MLBB is encouraged to take space and provide vision for the team, which means only a certain archetype of roamers thrive in the meta, especially in high level games like coordinated 5 man teams and pro play.

Speaking of pro play, is no one tired of seeing frontliners get picked everytime? The only supports I see being picked are Mathilda, Rafaela and Marcel, the latter who is being built like a frontliner anyways while Rafaela is being played as a MID LANER, same goes for Angela, shes not being picked much in pro play but the last time I saw her was on mid lane.

Certain “enchanter” type supports in MLBB also aren’t that interesting, especially Estes and Floryn, I’m just not a fan of supports that are just heal bots and provide no other offensive utility like buffing your allies damage or debuffing the enemy.

I really wish for the day where each roamer archetype in the MLBB meta is equal in strength, because I am tired of feeling forced to pick the same frontliners over and over again

I really don’t think Kaja’s Revamp has any “hidden strength” like some other new heroes/revamps

I don’t think he’s someone like Hirara who everyone underestimated at release but ended up being op, I honestly think its not the case for Kaja, he’s one of those revamps that needs some adjustments after release, like Alice and Eudora who didn’t do that well on the first weeks of their revamp and needed some buffs from Moonton to finally get some results.

Kaja just feels extremely underwhelming and his most ideal situation is just too niche, he only works if you’re ahead or if the enemy mid roam duo is not that good.

He really suffers against heroes who snowball really well because Kaja has no reliable tool to shutdown an extremely well fed marksman or assassin.

His ult has no hard CC and it only traps them within an area that only gets smaller if you pull, which means that if you use his ult in close range, it does nothing because the area of his ult has too much space for the enemy and it doesnt stun them.

He also just loses really badly to other meta roamers like Belerick, Atlas, Marcel and Mino, and its all because he can’t afford bringing them closer to his team without even stunning them, it just bothers me so much that Kaja went from having the highest level of CC to only 0.5s of stun.

I really wanna believe that he has some hidden strength but so far every other meta roamer is just significantly better, more consistent and more reliable.

I beg you, please stop banning the fun roamers 🥺

I miss when the top bans were always junglers or mages, everyone is just banning roamers now.

Kalea has fallen so far

Kalea is now being completely ignored in both pro scene and ranked games, I am guessing this is mostly because Atlas just does everything and Belerick is too strong, and the fact that everybody just knows how to handle single target pick off roamers now. She also got nerfed recently with her S2 cooldown being way longer (14s in early game).

From being prio pick or ban in pro scene to not being acknowledged at all in MSC, with a 1.25% contention rate out of 80 games.

Is it fair to ask for a Kalea buff right now? Or do you think a slight meta shift can bring her back?

Hot Take: Argus is over-slandered, Minsitthar is under-slandered

Now I’m not defending Argus or saying he’s the goat of EXP or something, but slandering Argus is like beating a dead horse. We get it, he’s a BUM who never got any good treatment from Moonton.

So I’m here to say one thing: Minsitthar DOES NOT deserve the glaze he receives, the amount of glaze people have for this hero is like pre-slander Argus, you know the kids who say “Argus 1v1, full bold no run”? Minsitthar is receiving that same glaze in the present era.

If you mention any meta sustain exp laner in TikTok, there will be some kid who will mention that Minsitthar can beat them in a 1v1 due to majority of meta EXP laners having dash skills. Well if he beats these meta heroes then why is he not being picked in pro play?

This guy is a BUM, he has no mobility and his players don’t build tank items, all Minsi players have in their mind is the enemy laner and doesn’t even consider being nuked by a long ranged late game marksman or mage thats being peeled by a tank.

He is such an easy target in coordinated teams, its not like he’s slippery or have insane sustain, ONE pick off and he’s gone in an instant, be it from Atlas, Kalea or Kaja.

Thoughts on making Helcurt’s fog passive activate on a low HP threshold instead of on kill? Kinda like Killing Spree.

Reasoning:
- As of right now, Helcurt’s micro is very linear, TP, then burst. The problem is, good enemies can build Rosegold Meteor which easily counters Helcurt.

Making the fog activate on a low HP threshold gives Helcurt more choices when engaging an enemy, if they die from the initial burst, he still works the same, but if they survive the initial burst, Helcurt can have TWO choices—he can either continue going for the kill OR escape and reposition for the next engage.

If you compare him to Sun Roam who has insane mobility and lots of untargetability, he just seems more slippery and can do the hit and run gameplay better than Helcurt.

Why I think it’s a fair change:
- This change doesn’t make Helcurt have a 100% kill rate, it just makes sure that he doesn’t have a 100% DEATH rate if someone survives his burst. He can still be hit by AoE moves and be chased by high mobility heroes after the fog is gone.

HSR players cannot be real

“Robin’s design is gonna be heavily sexualized” while we legit have Robin in HSR with a summer outfit.

Have they also not seen Fischl and Sparkle in HI3? Why would Hoyo completely overhaul an already established design of a character from one of THEIR GAMES. HSR genuinely has one of the most miserable fandom.

“Waahhh wahhh! Robin is gonna get ruined!”

Shut the fuck up

It sucks that he’s so fun yet so situational as a roamer

Helcurt’s best role in this current meta and for a while now is Roam, but the problem is that damage roamers in general just feels like a taboo thing to pick, especially in solo q where they’re supposed to shine more because they thrive against uncoordinated team comps.

It’s just incredibly unfortunate that the fun part about roaming is SITUATIONAL, something you do for casual play or when you know you can win.

Like how many roamers have actual fun and cool gimmicks? Helcurt has a passive that lets him rotate incredibly fast and sense hidden enemies, and his macro game is so good, he can also make it DARK which I have been using to get into flank spots without being noticed.

Everything about Helcurt is just too cool to use, but he is just not intentionally designed to be a roamer. The gameplay of most roamers are kinda getting stale for me, I’ve been an avid tank user for YEARS who sometimes uses supports if needed, but it just doesn’t give me much joy compared to using Helcurt.

It just sucks that I have to assess my team’s composition and the enemy team’s composition before I can even play Helcurt, which is of course a normal thing with most heroes, but with Helcurt theres just a bit too much checklists.

The average EXP laner in this game cares TOO MUCH about their lane

Note: It's understandable if you don't care about this if you are a solo q player, as most of these misconceptions are caused by the fact that teammates are too unreliable to cover your weaknesses

There's two common misconceptions about EXP lane:

  1. The 1v1 lane ("X beats Y so X is better overall")

I think people care too much about match ups, yes they're definitely important to consider if you don't wanna be bullied in lane, but people tend to forget that the laning phase is only an early-game thing, you still have to consider your hero's value in team fights and objectives.

Heroes like Dyrroth and Minsitthar may be able to beat their laning opponent, but they're not as valuable in scenarios like team fights and neutral objectives.

  1. The Split Push lane ("Push only, no teamfight")

This playstyle personally bothers me too much, yes pushing towers and destroying the base is the main goal of the game, but we can literally do that together as a team. What's stopping you from joining the teamfights, securing turtles and lords THEN pushing a lane? It's way easier than trying to risk your life, sneaking to a lane and pushing it.

Its even worse if they pick a hero who's MEANT to be in teamfights like Phoveus, Yu Zhong, Lapu, Terizla and they waste their hero's value by split pushing.
