Imagine my dismay when I found out about the Batmobile design competition... AFTER it was over. Just my luck.
I couldn't help but notice all the likes on the recent Riddler Trophy Moc post, so I thought I would post my design again, since that one is clearly based on it, and didn't credit me whatsoever... Instructions are available on Rebrickable if you want to make one of your own.
And just as I did in the Rebrickable description, I'll credit "built_bricks" for inspiring the the entire MOC with their part usage for the question mark. You'll find their design on Rebrickable as well.
Personally I think it has some major flaws compared to the old system:
-You now have to go through two pages to add a single part instead of one.
-There's no menu of part categories at the top of the page anymore; you have to find the part number or dig it up in the catalog on a different tab.
-The options to add another part in the same/different color as the part you just submitted is gone, so now you have to enter that part number again and again for every single color you have of that part.
-Lastly the part colors aren't in alphabetical order for some reason, I don't know what that's about.
What do you think of it? I suppose it does look less dated, at least.
