Hey everyone, sorry the caption sounds very aggressive, I love you all. Anyways, prettifun just released his new album “PLU2”. My personal opinion lines up with that of many others here in that it’s repetitive and every song sounds the same.
Theres no defining track, no pioneering, same style since 2024, and just overall boring filler songs.
This comes as a disappointment, prettifun has been vocal about his burn out and doubts in his career and sadly I think it bled into this project. I feel like he’s just burnt himself out and this was a lazy hail Mary to the endzone. I thought that about his last project as well. He really hasn’t made a memorable project since 2024 IMO. His leaks have been very promising and his attitude seemed to improve slightly during the lead up to this album even despite his meltdowns on Twitter. But this was an underwhelming album to say the least.
Though that raises a question that’s been talked about many times in the UG community , maybe we just move on from sounds too fast and crave the next dopamine hit and we cannot commit ourselves to a sound. This scene moves very fast. What do you guys think? Should we enjoy the art more or continue to hold the artists to a high standard.
I’ve been watching all his sets and everything and just before tonight’s show I’m seeing his set in the dmv and it was HORRIBLE. No energy or anything it truly was bad. Atlanta is a home show so maybe it’ll be really good
Nine is from Georgia as we know, NYC was definitely one of the landmark stops.. I mean it’s nyc. And I think a majority of his listener base is New York, This is my 2nd time heading to Atlanta for a show and it’s (somewhat?) a hometown show so how crazy do yall think the energy will be?

It seemed like even before release he wasn’t zeroed in on it like he was with agc, barely any decent promo and he didn’t speak on it much, maybe 2 songs ever even previewed at concerts. When it did drop, once again he barely touched on it and at the shows he still mostly played agc songs and 2 songs off mc… he left it in the dust. More chaos was amazing, we always blame the fans for complaining about it but Ken did not believe in the project and you could tell with the release of the experiment, he really tried and put his cards in it unlike more chaos.

Found on a UVXCX video, this guy claims fashir is his manager which would actually be insane. I remember his videos from a couple years ago, he wasn’t actually a good YouTuber but just lowkey entertaining. I can’t imagine him being smart or logistical enough to manage an artist with how many things he got wrong and how unintelligent he sounded. Either way if he his props to him
