New labels

I hate how they changed the packaging for everything and now none of it scans on the Instacart app. ESPECIALLY all the cans of beans. I’ve stopped caring and just started refunding anything that doesn’t scan. You would think after spending all that money they would make sure the new barcodes scan on curbside but I guess they don’t hire people with brain cells at corporate.

Withdrawing 401k

Hey yall, I’m currently looking for another job and will hopefully leave aldi soon. I wanted to withdraw my 401k (after leaving) to pay off my debts but wanted to know the repercussions. I’m an asm of 1 yr been with the company 2 years, I know I will get taxed a lot but what about the employer match money?

Also if anyone knows companies preferably not in retail that would be a good fit for an asm to transition to with similar pay that would be greatly appreciated 🙏.

As an aldi employee, why do you guys shop curbside?

1- You’re paying wayyyy more on the app because Instacart hikes up the prices.
2- We are forced to rush your order so you won’t get the best quality items.
3- our phones do a terrible job at notifying us when customers arrive at the store which leads to 10+ min wait times

I just don’t see the appeal unless you’re physically unable to come inside and shop for yourself. My store gets so many customers who have complained many times in the past about having broken eggs, rotten produce, bags being overfilled and ripping, etc. at that point why keep ordering on curbside?
