Got lucky in NYC!

Was the very first person there after sprinting to make it, Julian was walking back while I was running up and went "Hey hey, winner!" To me when I made it!

Anyone have good fishing spots?

I'm new to fishing, just trying to pick up a new hobby, I have a couple spots I've been trying but haven't been very successful so far. Just curious if there's anyone else here that has any spots they'd like to share. Thanks!

How do you store your tees?

I've hit about 275ish tshirts and I'm running out of room on my shelf for new ones. I was told when I first started out collecting that I should never hang my tees because over time, it wears out the shoulders and messes up the neckline, so I've always stuck to neat folding. My place has a lot of closet space and I've been thinking of moving some of the collection to be hung, I feel like I can also appreciate it better there, but I thought I'd ask for the consensus here.

How do I catch bigger bass?

All I've been catching are juveniles, and I feel kind of like I'm doing this all wrong. I started out with a simple hook, worm and bobber, most of the time it gets stolen by sunnies, other times I get these small guys. Ive tried a wacky rig and Texas rig and dont get nibbles. Been doing this the whole summer a couple times a week, in different weathers, different sized hooks, and I'm feeling a little lost. I know there's larger bass in the place I'm fishing too cause I've seen them chase my little bass or sunnys I'll bring, but theyre few and far between. I dont have any experience fishing nor do I have a wise fisher friend to be mentored. I feel kinda silly asking such a broad question, but just thought I'd reach out here

Bizarre synchronized juvenile duck behavior?

I was out fishing watching a family of adolescent ducks swimming around together. Out of the blue they all took off very fast across the water in the same direction, slowly splaying apart before rejoining together. Whole thing occurred over maybe 80 feet and happened in seconds because they were so quick. My first thought was maybe a reaction to a perceived threat? Forgive me, I dont know anything about birds! Just wanted to ask the experts here.

Was having the worst 🍄 trip I've ever had, and then spotted this guy (New York)

Don't know very much about moths but I know seeing these guys during the day is pretty rare!

Check in on your dirty delinquent scumbag queer rochesterian friends today 💔

It's like seeing your child get punched in the face. Fire department says no structural damage and they will reopen though.

Age approximation

We found these little guys in our back parking lot. We're not really sure what to do with them. We want to keep one, maybe, we have two very gentle adults that have been great with them so far. If they're younger we're not sure if we should be doing anything with the weening processes. We also have friends who are interested in taking some, but I'm not sure if we should give them straight to a shelter or something. Again, kinda just going in blind so any advice would be great!

I don't think it's LotR as no character ever steals eggs from an eagle, also it looks more like a griffin than anything. any ideas?

they're building something where the old red lobster used to be, my girlfriend is convinced its an outback steak house because of the design on it, but I can't imagine them building a new one of those in 2026
