A few things for trade

Hello all, I have a few things to trade for in the pictures :). As per my usual I’m looking for embroidery/sashiko supplies and Star Wars related things. Or, if you have something really cool to offer I’m game to see it.

Here are the descriptions:

  1. A women’s 2XL rainbow sweater that I crocheted myself. It’s acrylic

  2. Three different headbands that I knitted myself. They are wool

  3. A wool scarf in honey and purple colors that I crocheted in Tunisian style

  4. A men’s dandy costume pattern. I have only taken pieces out to look at them. It is unused.

  5. An attempt at watercolor embroidery. I like this one and think it’s cute with the little pine trees in front.

  6. A Christmas colored crocodile stitch kerchief that I crocheted. It is acrylic and sparkly.

  7. An acrylic painting of heirloom tomatoes that I did

  8. A (superwash?) wool kerchief that I crocheted. There are hearts in it. It’s subtle. I was trying out fillet crochet.

  9. A white cotton kerchief that I crocheted

  10. A small handbag with the words “Bishoujo Baddie” painted on it in the “Barbie” font

  11. An acrylic painting of a skein of yarn

I know it’s a lot. Just hoping somebody finds some of it amusing :)

“Long term” goals missing

Am I just having this issue, or is it common? My “long term” goals like “collect 200 pieces of clothing” and “collect 200 household objects” are missing. All my other goals are there, like the stars and the daily goals, so I don’t know what’s up. I’m also supposedly two days behind on the monthly challenge stuff as well. Just would like to know. Thanks!

The most beautiful journal!

Hello all,

I just received this phenomenal junk journal. I would hardly call it junk! It’s so beautiful! There are so many pretty pages and even some gesso’d ones so I can paint in it. Thank you so much to u/right-week-2603 for this amazing tome! She does amazing work!

A shawl, shawlette, scarf, and cowl

Not going to lie, these have been sitting around in my tote for a few years, so they need good homes, as I’m probably not going to wear them.

First is a shawl I made using yarn from a company that has fallen from grace, but this was years before that happened. It’s peach that fades into white, gray, and black. Crocheted, 100% cotton. I’ll like that it’s still soft :). It would be great for the summer on a night that gets a slight chill.

Next is what I call a Trans/Bi Pride shawlette. I think it’s quite pretty! I made it with “Shawl in a ball” yarn, which sadly got discontinued, but it means the shawl not only has brilliant colors, but has a bit of sparkle. It’s also soft despite the sparkle. It’s also crocheted.

Third is a scarf that I made with some pretty superwash merino (I don’t remember the brand name, but I’m tempted to say Malabrigo). I did a little bit of beading in it just to add a little something to it, even though I think the yarn and pattern are pretty enough on their own. This one is knitted.

Last is a cowl I made using some Bad Sheep Yarn in the color “Shiny Bright” which is a discontinued colorway from their site. I think that it lent itself perfectly to the stitch definition of the pattern I used and wasn’t “too busy”. It’s a little loose fitting but is still pretty. This one is also knitted.

For trade, as always, I’m looking for Star Wars stuff, embroidery or Sashiko supplies, or more recently, animal skulls (real or replica) or animal jaws.

I want to get into oddities stuff including illustration so I want some realism :)

Thank you for reading and looking!

Update: hand painted pillows

Hello all, a lot of you have liked my hand painted pillows so far. I just wanted to post an update with what is left in case there are any that people still want. Anything blotted out with red is no longer available. I still have some cute ornaments!

Thank you for the shinines

I got my first trade in today! Thank you u/saltymidgie for the color shifting paints and the embroidery floss! I’ll put them to good use!

Hand Painted “Pillows” and ornaments

Hello all, I know it seems like I’m spamming the boards, but I genuinely do have a lot of items for trade. I am a finer artist and painter, and this time the two are combined. I have made hand painted “pillows”. These are just in quotes because they’re kind of like stuffed animals and pillows and ornaments.

There first three pics are all cat pillows. The fourth one has a gray cat pillow and cat ornaments.

The amanita (red) mushrooms are two bigger pillows and two ornaments.

The white cat is a pillow.

The frog guy is a pillow and the small mushrooms are ornaments.

The pumpkins are ornaments.

Ok, now that we’re through that—-

For trade I would like sashiko or embroidery supplies, Star Wars stuff, or real/replica animal skulls/jaws. I am open to other stuff if it’s cute/cool.

Thank you!

Hundreds of (acorn) Hats

I have what is about a a couple hundred acorn hats that I’ve collected over the last year or so. They would be great for kids crafts and other crafting. I can ship them out as one lump sum out in smaller bundles, your choice.

For trade I would like embroidery or sashiko supplies, Star Wars stuff, or possibly real or replica animal skulls.

Thank you!

Juniper Moon Cumulus

Hello all, I have a craft supply to exchange. It is a full skein of Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus, color 57, Citron-at 251 yards, worsted weight. It’s an insanely soft cotton/nylon blend. I was going to use it for a project, but I ended up not needing it, so here it is.

For trade I’ll take embroidery or sashiko supplies, acrylic paint, paint brushes, watercolor supplies/paints, gouache paints/supplies, or Star Wars related items. I am not looking for other yarn as I am a bit picky.

If this looks like something you want and you suggest other things for trade, I’ll hear you out on it too. Hit me up :)

Have a nice day!

Florida native flowers

I’m sending these out for a craft trade. They are a Helmet Skullcap, Florida Tickseed, and Wild Columbine. I am working on my watercolor skills, and just beginning. I just bought a botanical illustration book, so I’m hoping to make more and better ones for trade.

Medium Women’s Jacket- Mandalorian and Grogu

Here’s a cool Mandalorian jacket that I painted about two years ago. It’s a women’s medium/large despite the tag saying extra large. I did it as a 24 hour challenge for myself at a convention. For trade, I’m fairly open and like pretty things as well as other Star Wars related things. Let me see your work and maybe we can trade!

XS women’s hand painted jacket- “Glamborous”

I have a hand painted (by me) jacket featuring a sheep that is wearing lipstick, bracelets, and flowers. It’s a women’s extra small, or a youth size. For trade, I’m pretty open, but I like Star Wars related things if you need to be guided. If you have pretty things I’d love to see your work and see if we can trade!

How to prepare “Burmese tofu”?

I know the process to make it, as I’ve done so with red lentils and chick peas, so that’s not my question so much as how to use it.

I’ve done cubed pieces pan fried in sesame oil as well as grinding it up in a nice lettuce cup dish. I am looking for more ways to prepare it so that I make it more. How would you use it?

Thanks!

* For those who don’t know what it is, here’s a link: https://elavegan.com/chickpea-tofu/

It can be made with any legume, which is nice. Chickpeas are just traditional.
