Season 2 episode 8: I don't get it...

Why does Mrs Garrett have such a problem with Mrs Bullock teaching the children? They meet and it seems like they're both taking pains to be polite to each other, but once Mrs B puts herself forward as the children's teacher, the atmosphere in the room changes and Mrs G is nearly rude in response.

Does Mrs G think Mrs B is overstepping? Even if that were the case, her reaction seems extreme.

Can someone elucidate, please?

Can you smell dust?

I'm not an enthusiastic housekeeper. I'd rather do just about ANYTHING than clean. (including writing this post)

But.

I can tell when I need to deep-clean. I can smell the dust or whatever, and I'll let it bother me until I happen to find the energy/will to get to it.

The sucky part is, no one else notices. My partner will clean, but he doesn't vacuum or dust. No baseboards, no mopping. No walls where they get smudgy around the light switches. And he acts like I'm doing the absolute most when I wipe down the tops of the kitchen cabinets or whatever twice a year.

I'm not talking about the cleaning solution smell like fabulosa or pine sol, I mean I can smell the dust in the house. Please tell me I'm not alone and imagining things.

I eat like a 5-year-old with car keys and a credit card. I will be titrating methylphenidate later this week, and the doctor was specific about a "protein-heavy breakfast" with this medication.

I want to comply, but also my breakfasts look like:

2 bowls of Frosted Flakes

3 cups of tea (heavy sugar, light milk)

Jelly beans if I haven't eaten them last night

Toast with nutella and berries, or sometimes peanut butter-banana-honey, but I don't usually have bananas

Pancakes, waffles, danish, random cake (cake is basically a donut, right?)

*Sometimes* I'll tolerate a cheese omelet, but not often. I'm a sweet breakfast person! Any recs to get higher protein into my half-asleep body? Please?
