Description:
Trivly is a casual trivia and quiz game with 15 categories — General Knowledge, Geography, Gaming, Music, Film & TV, Science, History, Sports & Leisure, Animals, Art, Technology, Mythology, Politics, Food & Drink, and IQ & Logic. There are 4 game modes: Classic (10 questions), Lightning (20 × 8 seconds each), Survival (up to 50 questions × 3 lives), and Practice (no timer, no ranking). The Daily Challenge is one mixed round per day drawn from 8 categories — daily scores accumulate toward an annual prize leaderboard where 1st place wins a free year of Pro and 2nd-20th place win shorter Pro subscriptions. Friend leaderboards let you compete privately; invite codes give both sides power-ups (50/50, +5s, skip) when redeemed. A daily streak system rewards consecutive logins with more power-ups. The UI is translated into 12 languages. Trivly is deliberately ad-light: there are no forced or interstitial ads anywhere — the only ads are optional "Watch ad for +5 seconds" prompts during timed questions that you can ignore. The optional Pro subscription removes those prompts and unlocks 11 extra categories. Designed for short 5-10 minute sessions.

Involvement: Solo developer — designed, coded, and shipped the entire app: frontend (React Native + Expo), backend (Firebase Auth + Firestore for leaderboards, no Cloud Functions), monetization (RevenueCat for the Pro subscription, AdMob for the opt-in rewarded ads), 12-language localization, and Play Store submission. Built in roughly 2 weeks of evenings and weekends with heavy use of modern tooling and AI-assisted coding.
