I have an Erudition Only, so how far should I invest for Rin?

I already have an E2S1 Himiko Nova there (Therta, Rappa, Jing Yuan, Anaxa E0SO), and I was wondering what would be a good stopping point for Rin, or if I should just pull all the way for her E6?

Another question, what other characters can use Rin's lc well or as a side grade?

If SW was a food, what food do you think she'd be?

Personally, for me she feels like something sweet and blue/purple, so I'd say blueberry pie tbh.

How about you? What do you think she'd be?

I'm genuinely curious on the reason why we all began liking Silver Wolf. Like was it her design, personality, lore, voice acting, or something else?

I personally began liking her when I saw her during the beta for HSR, her gamer vibes and colour scheme really resonated with me. It was also partly cause she looked like Bronya Zaychik who is my fav character from Hi3.

We've all had those moments where go "FUCK." when building a character.

For me it was somewhere during the beta when SW999 still scaled with atk; I got amazing SPD boots with double crit + 5 roll, didn't think I was gonna use it, so I recycled them. When I saw the changes the only thought in my head was "FUCK.". (I didn't have Sparxie, and wasn't on planning to pull her either)

So, how about you guys? It doesn't really have to be on SW999, as long as it is funny and HSR, I guess.

I am not trying to be mean or anything, just wondering how much people here actually read kits before playing the characters in this sub.

I've been seeing a lot of people posting if their builds are ready to leave the mines, and I don't mind answering to them; but just wanna make a post on it, like a check list of sorts.

Ask yourself this:

Do you want the best for our wolf? Go to checklist 1

Do you want a good wolf? Go to checklist 2

Do you want a bare minimum wolf? Go to checklist 3

(If you are neither for some reason or have questions, ask in the comments)

Checklist 1 [Best possible wolf]

Do you have 200 SPD (with her LC)/180 SPD (without her LC) or more?

Do you have 80%± cr (70± with Yao LC)?

Do you have more than 80~100% crit DMG (Doesn't matter too much though)

= Great, leave the mines.

Checklist 2 [A good comparable wolf]

Do you have 180 SPD (with her LC)/160 SPD (without her LC) or more?

Do you have 70~80%± cr (60~70± with Yao LC)?

Do you have more than 80% crit DMG (Doesn't matter too much though)

= Can farm for more but you can still leave.

Checklist 3 [Bare minimum wolf]

Do you have 160 SPD with a consistent source of SPD (Like E1 Huohuo/E2 Yao; don't use Hacker space please, the uptime is horrendous even with E2 SW999)

Do you have 60~70%± cr (50~60± with Yao LC)?

= Bare minimum, go back in there.

TLDR; 200 SPD on SW999 + at least 60 cr = Great, leave the mines.

180 SPD + 60 or more cr = can farm for more but you can still leave. (If you have to farm for other characters, do so. If not, back into the mines you go.)

160 SPD + more than 50 cr = bare minimum (Go back in there)

Btw, the reason that 180 SPD is recommend on builds without the LC is because if you did have it, you would be sitting at around 200 SPD.

Just wanted to know how people's SW999 are looking like in this sub. Reason why I have the less than 160 option because.. some people might have it y'know, but I still hope it will be empty.

I've been thinking for a while about the potential Elation sustain.

I know that a lot of people have been saying that the Elation sustain will bring the team to a new level, just like Hyacine with Rem. But the reason why Rem was so uplifted by a good sustain is due to the Rem mechanics being very reliant on HP. The other sustains have not significantly changed the damage, even DHPT who is the second best sustain is not really changing the damage in his best in slot teams. Don't get me wrong, he does provide good buffs and all, but mostly, he is there for sustaining.

When there's no problem in sustaining, you would use another support instead, right? The Elation sustain might help with punchline/CB generation + offer a few buffs, but I still feel like they might not provide the same value as Hyacine to Rem team. Although, considering how much value the current sustains are providing to Elation, they probably will be much better.

Anyway, what I was trying to say, is that, the sustains who changed the meta Hyacine and Aventurine (DHPT kinda, but not really). One was a necessary teammate (Hyacine), while the other one had just brought so much shields/sustainability that it wasn't even close.

Other teams do not heavily rely on the sustain either, (Break, FUA, Phainon, Archer, ect.) It is only the HP scalers due to their mechanics. So, I honestly do not know if the upgrade of the Elation will be as people expect it to be (There will be, but not anywhere close to Hyacine level.
