Question! Thinking about buying a Trax

Thinking about buying a Trax, either new or 2025/26 used. Coming from a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that’s just been a nonstop nightmare over the many years. If it isn’t one things it’s another and I never want to own a Jeep ever again. Tried to lemon law it back in the day but dealer talked us out of it every time.

Anyways back to the Trax, wanted some owners opinion’s, we are worried that it has no vents in the second row like our Jeep does. Does it get too hot or cold back there? We have a baby now and tired of the Jeep breaking down, I’m just worried about it getting too hot back there in a Trax.

Thank you!

Edit: if we do get a Trax, we plan on getting one in white to help with the heat.

Negative equity - advice greatly appreciated

Hi all wanted to ask for any advice, so in May 2023 I purchased a 14 Jeep Cherokee from Carmax. After tax, their max care program and the price of the vehicle the total price came out to 24650. Put 500 down as I was in a real pickle needing a car that day after my previous car dying and the uber being very expensive to get to/from work.

Well now it’s just over 3 years later, my warranty expired 13000 miles ago and the car is a mechanical nightmare, i feel like i get it fixed, 3 or 4 new things break. I owe 14 and dealers are telling me it’s only worth 3. Don’t have the means to pay the difference, any advice what to do? I’ve heard of people rolling over negative equity but that seems excessive rolling over 11 thousand, any advice greatly appreciated.

It’s gotten so bad trying to keep up with the repairs that I just went and bought a 2004 CRV my buddy had sitting at his farm to just have a car to get to and from work, errands and doctor appointments.

Thank you for reading, have a great day! :)

First CRV! Part number question. TIA

Posted the other day about input on buying my friend’s CRV for $500, 254k with a couple issues. Well I’m the proud new owner of a 2004 Honda CRV and so far I’m loving it. Not as great as my 99 4Runner that recently died for the last time however still nice. That baby’s got a place in my heart forever. Needs a deep clean and the blinking D light fixed but other than that it’s great!

Well now my question, blinking D is pulling up code 26 after jumping pins 4 & 9, with a little research this is signifying the third clutch pressure switch, does anyone happen to know the direct part number to find the part or a link would be helpful too? I can’t find the part on Advanced Auto Parts or O’Reillys. TIA

Buying a CRV advice.

Hi all thinking about buying a 2003 CRV, has 260k for $500 from a friend. Wanted yalls opinion on it?

Obviously has a couple issues and needs tires before winter but nothing too severe. And the D light is blinking but trans seems to be shifting fine and don’t hear any sort of humming or anything. Trans fluid doesn’t look too dirty either.

Do yall think is worth it? Only need a car to get to & from work and if I can get a good 6 months out of it no complaints. Never have owned a Honda before so I don’t know what to look for.
