Hello to you all!

Some time ago I have found this nice little bowl on a flea market in Germany.

The seller had lots of items from the estate form an merchant ship captain who brought lots of stuff in the 50s and 60s from south America and Africa.

I have bought this little bowl because the quality of the workmanship and pattern are beautiful to me!

Unfortunately I was not able to find out more about it other than one similar item on a past auction in Sao Paulo, but that one isn't made as well as my piece.

Is there any way to tell the age of the item or if its just a tourist souvenir or a real old artefact?

Any guesses are highly appreciated.

Vielleicht ist das ja für einige von euch interessant.

Heute an einer Tankstelle in Norddeutschland fiel mir dieses ungewöhnliche blaue Kennzeichen an einem Wohnmobil auf.

Nach kurzer Recherche habe ich herausgefunden, dass es sich um ein Kennzeichen vom diplomatischen Corps aus Kroatien handelt. Dies wird auch durch den ovalen Aufkleber CD für Corps Diplomatique bestätigt.

The seller told me that it's most likely from France or south America.

Can anyone please give me some information what the signature could mean?

Good morning!

Last weekend I have found this stylish lamp at an estate sale in northern Germany.

unfortunately I was not able to identify the factory which made it or the designer behind it.

The lamp has no maker sticker on it, just the fixture for the lightbulb is marked "Zenith" but I think that is just the supplier of the fixture.

The red stones are made from plastic material.

Any information is highly appreciated!
