What are some of the pros and cons of a synthetic heel stack versus a leather heel stack? I personally think synthetic looks awful compared to leather. Are companies really saving that much money using synthetic, or is there another reason they’re so prevalent.

How many times have you seen people say Ruger Mark III and IV mags have different geometry or different internals?

I kept hearing it, so I tested it myself. They’re 100 percent interchangeable. Same body, same internals across both generations and models (standard and 22/45). The only difference is the baseplate.

I switched to Pragmatic Shooting baseplates because they were the only affordable extended option I found that wasn’t gigantic.

If anyone wants my standard baseplates. Let me know

What baseplates is everyone else running? Or are you sticking with stock?
