Weird red spots on cat’s gums
The spots are in exactly the same spot on both sides, and are bright like fresh blood, so I’m wondering if it might be some physical problem like his teeth rubbing or something. I’ve tried everything I can think of to look this up, but everything I’ve found has obvious inflammation, or tooth decay, or whatever, and the problem is that his teeth/gums seem to me otherwise completely healthy.
I don’t need a full diagnosis, I’m just trying to get an idea whether this is like a normal growth thing (kitty is just over 1y.o.) or if I should maybe take him in to get examined.
