How to quit after 3 weeks of working

As the title stated, I'm 19F, currently working at a small family owned retail store as a casual. And after 3 weeks, I kinda realized its not for me and that I received a better job offer that fits my Salary Preference more and social life schedule. And also because the salary we agreed upon decreased after a week of working (even when the based salary was already $27/hr now its $26.30/hr) and not paying for public Holiday rates when I was working on Friday before AFL finals. Right now I am scheduled to cover another coworker's shift next weekend. I was thinking of quiting either after next week shifts, or do I need to hand in a 2 week notices or something? It feels awkward to just leave after 3 weeks, so I'm not sure how to bring it up to my boss or even what to say. Especially since everyone at work starts to be more friendly and start teaching me all of the store systems for long term career.

Edit: Just received my paycheck for last week shifts and Now I'm getting $24.75/hr???

Before sleep thoughts about the future

Recently, I dont know why but everytime I try to go to sleep and closed my eyes, I always think of what my life would've been if my mom were to passed away out of the blue. It filled me with fear every night so I just get this anxiety feeling. I just feel like I want to give her everything she ever wanted and just make her happy you know? I'm currently 19yrs old and my mom is 43. I feel like time is just constantly slipping by so fast and that I'm not doing enough to give her everything for all the sacrifices she done for me. I know that its all gonna be alright but I just cant stop these thoughts resurfacing everytime I try to go to sleep. Anyone got any advice to stop these thoughts?

Is this normal for new skates?

Hi! I just recently bought my first pair of skates (Risport Venus) and when I got them professionally fitted at my local Skate store, it fit perfectly not much of a pinky toe pain at the store. But after my first session, the pain was unbearable on both of my pinky toe as I can't complete more then 2 laps around the rink without stepping out to take the skates off to cool off. Is this normal for the breaking it in phase? Or do I need to get the pressure point punched out or something?
