Making a new set for a new type of multiplayer
Hello, some time ago I asked about a "superdeck" type of game I used to play with my friends long before EDH was a thing.
Well, what I didn't tell you is that I "designed" a whole set of new cards for that "superdeck".
Today I come to you asking for help with the keywords in that set. Are they well worded? What are your opinions on them?
Thanks in advance for all your commentaries!
Creature abilities:
- Disperse X (When this creature deals combat damage to a player, you may choose to deal X combat damage to each opponent instead.)
- Planehopper (Whenever this creature attacks, you may choose any opponent or planeswalker as target of its attack.) NOTE: In superdeck, you are supposed to attack only one player, usually the one to your right.
- Congregate - X (Whenever you deal combat damage to a player, this ability triggers once for each opponent you have.) NOTE: X is a triggered ability, not a value.
- Awaken the Spark (If this permanent would leave the battlefield, instead exile it. You may return it transformed under your control. If you don't, return it transformed under your control at the beginning of the next end step.)
Sorcery and instant abilities:
- Karma (When you cast this spell, any opponent may pay its Karma cost once. If they do, they create a copy of this spell. Your spell goes first into the stack, followed by every opponent's copy in turn order. Every opponent may choose new targets for their copy.) QUESTION: is the stack part important or would this be already what you are supposed to do according to rules?
- Democracy/Dictatorship (When you cast this spell, if you paid the Democracy/Dictatorship cost, you may choose one of the effects. If you didn't, each opponent in turn order chooses one of the abilities and you must choose that ability. If there is a tie, you may choose the effect.)
- Shared (Each opponent copies this spell. Your spell goes first into the stack, followed by every opponent's copy in turn order. Every opponent may choose new targets for their copy.)
