Which would be better for an every day ring? A thin bezel-set diamond surrounded by either a ring of black enamel or onyx? Are there other or better alternatives for a deep black color surrounding the diamond?

Hollow form ring - i want to add a pattern to the sides of this ring I'm making. I'd like to fuse it rather than solder it because i won't be able to remove the solder from in between the wires. I'm afraid fusing will cause all of my soldered joins to come undone, though. Any ideas or suggestions?

Making my first hollow form ring. The outer shell is slightly larger around than the inner shell. The inner shell is the correct size. Should I cut the back side of the outer shell to make it slightly smaller or is there a better way to make this work?

It's taken quite a while to get the outer shell formed. Hoping I don't have to start over.
