As the title mentions, the aperture does not close down on my camera. the lever moves when i fire the shutter and press the DOF preview. lens blades close when i use the tab but when the lens is on the camera it doesnt close. i am suspecting that there is some misalignment between the lever and the tab hence it does not close down. Cant test with another lens because i dont have any. any idea how to resolve this issue?
im using an MC rokkor-pg 50mm f1.4 lens. the aperture blades close when i do it manually, but when i press my DOF preview button nothing happens. the viewfinder remains equally bright as before even when i close down the aperture on the lens. I removed the lens and observed that the control lever moves when i press the DOF preview button. opened the back, set the camera to 1s exposure and f16 but the blades dont close. what do i do now man
