As the title says I just paid for a 22 plate id3 from VW dealership which I'm picking up in the next few days. They have sent an email offering one year extra for £499 up to three years for 899. This seems pretty steep and as it's the most money I've ever spent on something not house related but I believe they prey on the overly cautious like this. Is it worth it in anybody's opinion? Don't want to throw money away if I don't have to. The mileage is 37000 btw.

I remember reading a strip sometime ago called It started with a shit, which I found hilarious but haven't got that copy anymore. Any chance someone can upload it? Thanks.
