I encountered the fat Somalian scammer at Rideau this afternoon but it seems he changed his story a bit.
He said 'I lost my wallet can you give me $20 cash so I can go home in Barrhaven, I'll e transfer you when I'm at home because I have cash at home I will deposit to my account".
I kept telling him I knew it was a scam and he eventually gave up and left.
I had a fraud on my debit card a few months ago and they put a telephone banking restriction that was supposed to last 2 weeks in case the thief that used my debit card was going to call RBC to pretend to be me. 4 months later, there is still this telephone banking restriction because they never removed it and I must go to the branch to remove it. Is this normal?
I see too many people getting on the bus without paying
I found this receipt on the 6 Rockcliffe
It's been like this for weeks
I guess someone doesn't like Queen Elizabeth.
I'm not sure if it was the RBC or TD because the article didn't say which bank it was, but a couple of days ago someone walked in a bank and demanded cash and the staff complied and gave it to him. He probably didn't even have a weapon.
