FO4 Adding more RadHazards to the world?
Just as the title says. I'm wanting to add radization hazards to the world. One of the things I want to do is add them to an object. But my scripting ability isn't very good.

I'm on an OG xbox one and yes I need to update. But I wanted to share that I haven't lost any load order or memory or mods since doing it. I've also been testing Skyrim on and off again on it as well. It's all helped make the game run a little smoother.
So If you have an OG xbox or a series S. I think it's pretty safe alternative to having to upgrade your console.
Other then that. Good luck out there Wastelanders!
I'm not just talking weather and lighting mods. I'm talking those odd combos that when mixed can be beautiful or spooky for the atmosphere.
I know there's all kinds. I'm having a bit of memory loss on KY old combos I got working the last time I tried making a load order. But I'm sure there's new ones now.
I've been trying to find other ways to help make this game run smoother and one of the things I've been totting about in this space is the DEF-UI Core and it's More Minimal DEF UI Preset. These did seem to help in the Boston area and also during fights as the screen didn't have the compass, XP gain popup and the sound of gaining XP gobbiling up the consoles processor.
But for whatever reason I could not get the Nuka World to load when trying to travel there through Cheat Console. So if you're wanting a clean and optimized UI while only being in the Commonwealth. This is for you. But for everyone else. Please don't follow my advice!
That being said I have not tried this DEF_UI Core NG by Neanka mod yet. I don't know if it will work with the update. Maybe someone will let me know as I won't be having the time to find out.
Praise ATOM! Praise the Overseer and TeamStrange! This has been a problem since about the beginning of the game's release. There has not been anyone that has fixed this on Bethesda.net or so I have not seen anything. Meaning this is the fix we've all been waiting for in this community. It has been the number one cause of save bloat and long loading times and eventual game crashes. All it is, is change to a game setting of iDeathDropWeaponChance to 0 or so I think that's how they did it. Should be part of a bundle!Skyrim xbox is reportedly still has this issue without a solution!
Fellow Nerd and Mod Author DankRafft had this to say.
"I just did a ton of test runs across multiple locations, with different types of enemies, and other variables. My conclusion is that this bug isn't fixed, so there's still a good reason to run this mod."
You can read about how this is still been a problem and has been HERE! In this Nexus discussion user and Fellow Nerd McMagnus talks about how and why this helps the game.
"Prior to the official Fallout 4 1.6 update, dropped weapons relied on their corresponding corpse to be be cleaned up / removed. If the
corpse got cleaned up before it deleted the corresponding weapon, the weapon would never get cleaned up. This meant that any dropped weapon you didn't pick up would stay there forever.
This problem led to save file bloating and could potentially lead to running out of generated/dynamic form IDs. Save file bloating is when there is a lot of unimportant stuff stored in your save file, increasing the file size and leading to long load times. I've read that running out of dynamic form IDs generally leads to CTDs. I don't know if it's possible to recover a save file if that happens, or if it's even likely to happen in Fallout 4."
Now I gave it a few tests of my own. I did my usual set of Optimized Textures - Main, Vivid AIO, Valius's High Quality Texture Pack. As well as many others. What did I notice!?
Over all my game had one less set of items it had to track. Usually I couldn't have multiple of SKK's script mods running at the same time as it seems my OG XB1 doesn't handle multiple scripts running all at once. But with this I could get away with running Random Encounter Manager, Dynamic Loot, and Replace any actor with any actor. Overall my game was a little more stable and healthy. Especially while running around outside GoodNeighbor. But that could be a placebo as I have a ton of optimizer running. But over all it felt a little more smoother.
Now for those who are stuck in a mid play through you could use this mod and possibly SKK's Survival Utilities to auto loot weapons in areas you've fought in. But I'm not sure if it will pick them up without the dead bodies so it's scripts can parse their inventories. But like always approach this method with caution as it's not always safe to mess with load orders mid play through.
If you really wanted to fight save bloat and keep things from cluttering up in big fights or the fact that ash and goo piles don't clean up in settlements. You can use this mod as well Ash and Goo Piles Begone. This way nothing take up to much dynamic memory of your console!
Good luck out there and have fun!
I'm just throwing this out here. But I remember back when the Xbox x was released a lot of the people in this community talked about how it could help run their games faster. That is I'm talking about the Xbox x's optimizer mode.

I'm just curious how this helps with the current update and people's general experience. I don't own an x just yet. But I do like optimizing this game.

Does it still crash in down town?
Like the title says. I love distributing the weapons that are already in the game. While I've handled plenty of dlc mods. I've yet to find ones that trustworthy in handling the new cc content. Any recommendations?

Another thing is I still have my 100 free points to spend on cc content. What are the best ones to spend that on? I do love plants and gardening in the game and I also love ones that change a lot of stuff in it as well. Anything like that?
Been a little bit since I last did anything on the game. But I'm also curious how you all are using the extra space.
I'm talking any tips on how many weapon and armor mods can you add and mix with the level lists? What if any other mod combinations can we do?
I'd love to hear any crazy load order ideas.
