María Inés: Father, I'm María Inés. I wanted to thank you first and then ask you a question. I was a numerary for 6 years and it's been just over a year since I stopped being one. In the Center I discovered what a mother's love is, especially through the administration staff. When I left, I kept finding it in the way they've always stayed close to me. Due to personal circumstances, I've had to go through some difficult and lonely times. And one might think that, on leaving the Work, you also stop being part of this family. But the way they've always been there for me, in what I've had to learn, has made me feel that it's still my family. And it's one of God's consolations in my life. I think the greatest gift of all has been discovering, through that experience, the worth I have simply because God loves me. It's a truth I may have always known, but only this way was I able to truly make it my own. Since you're the father of this family, I wanted to thank you in person.
The Father: When someone has been a daughter, no matter what happens, she remains a daughter. Feel very much a daughter of the Father in the Work, wherever you are. And let that also lead you to pray for the Work, knowing that it's still very much yours. Agreed? Alright, go ahead.
