Is there any tv show or movie that properly and accurately represents debate in their films, specifically policy debate?
Everytime debate is mentioned it’s either about a smart kid that does it but isn’t shown or it’s a moment where a student educates a teacher during a debate meeting but none of it actually shows debate accurately
Is that even a thing? I sound stupid asking
Looking to start on September but im scared I won’t be able to afford this sport
Like look at this, if you’ve never done debate before don’t even bother showing up to judge, you’re ruining the experience and likely giving unfair votes on your rounds.
And the whole “quantity not quality” thing pisses me off so much
It looks so weird and I need HELP ASAP to remove it
And please don’t say “talk to your dermatologist” I’d like actual product recommendations
