[29F4M] Malaysia/Anywhere - I already like my life. Looking for someone who makes me want to share it

29F from Malaysia. INTJ, if that means anything to you.

I work as a video content creator/editor in international football, which means my life occasionally switches from sitting quietly behind an editing timeline to being thrown into another country for a tournament with a camera, a deadline and questionable amounts of sleep.
Outside work, I have a chronic inability to stick to a reasonable number of interests.

I love travelling, learning languages, and I keep collecting random side quests because apparently simply having hobbies wasn’t enough. Wandered into things like archery, golf, fitness and combat sports, and I regularly disappear down completely unrelated rabbit holes because something caught my attention at 1am.

Personality-wise, I’m independent, curious and fairly reserved when I first meet someone. Once I’m comfortable, unfortunately for you, that expires. 😂
I ask a lot of questions, love stupid banter, and genuinely enjoy hearing someone talk about something they’re passionate about—even if I know absolutely nothing about it.

I’m career-driven and perfectly capable of enjoying my own company, so I’m not looking for someone to become my entire life. I’d rather have two people with their own careers, friends, interests and ambitions who genuinely want to make space for each other.

That doesn’t mean I’m looking for something emotionally distant either. With the right person, I’m affectionate, loyal and very much the “have you eaten?” type. I want someone I can travel with, laugh with, learn from, support when life gets rough and occasionally annoy for recreational purposes.

The candidates?

I tend to be drawn to men around my age or older who are mature, responsible and proactive. Have your own life.

Be passionate about something. Be capable of making a decision without forming a committee 😂
Being active is a big plus, and I admittedly have a weakness for the athletic/rugged type, but attraction isn’t something I can reduce to a checklist.

More importantly, I like competence, curiosity, emotional maturity and someone who can actually communicate. Teach me something. Challenge my perspective. Introduce me to something you love. Tell me we’re trying some ridiculous activity this weekend and I’ll probably be halfway dressed before asking where we’re going.

I’m in Malaysia, but I’m genuinely open to meeting someone internationally. My life and work are already fairly international, so distance doesn’t automatically scare me—but obviously there eventually needs to be a realistic possibility of meeting if we actually like each other.

I’m ultimately looking for something genuine and long-term, but not interested in manufacturing intimacy with a stranger on day one. Let’s talk, become actual humans to each other and see what happens.

If you message me, please give me more than “hey” or “wyd” before Reddit turns us both into fossils.
Tell me your age, where you’re from, what you do, and one thing you could accidentally give me a 45-minute lecture about.

I will probably ask follow-up questions.
You’ve been warned. 😂

Cheers 🍻

[29F4M] INTJ | Malaysia/Anywhere — Apparently being an INTJ doesn’t stop me from collecting side quests

29F, INTJ, from Malaysia. Open to anywhere because apparently geographical inconvenience is not enough of a deterrent for me 😂

I work as a video content creator in international football. It’s a strange little career that sometimes has me peacefully editing at my desk and other times suddenly living out of a suitcase somewhere overseas for a tournament, running around with cameras and surviving questionable amounts of sleep.

Personality-wise, I’m very INTJ in the sense that I’m independent, observant, ridiculously curious, and perfectly happy doing things alone. I don’t need constant attention, but if I genuinely like someone, I want to know everything about them — what they’re obsessed with, what they’re building toward, what weird subject they could give an unsolicited 40-minute lecture about.

My problem is that curiosity regularly gets out of control.

I travel whenever I get the chance. I learn languages for fun. I’ve somehow wandered into golf, archery and various other sports. I’ll spend one week obsessing over something completely random and the next planning a trip because I found somewhere interesting at 2am.

Basically: INTJ brain, side-quest lifestyle.

I’m looking for someone mature, capable and secure in himself. Having your own career, interests, friends and ambitions is attractive to me. I tend to like men who take initiative and can actually make decisions, but not someone controlling — I want a partner, not a project manager.

Being active/adventurous is a big plus. You absolutely do not need to share every hobby with me. In fact, I’d rather you have things of your own and occasionally drag me into your world.

I like affection, loyalty, consistency and people who actually communicate. I’m not particularly interested in endless “wyd?” conversations or disappearing into the Reddit void after three messages. Give me banter, tell me something oddly specific about yourself, disagree with me about something, teach me something.

Physically, I don’t have an absurd checklist. Attraction is attraction. I will admit I have a weakness for the athletic/rugged type, though. Do with that information what you will 😂

Age-wise, I’m generally attracted to men around my age or older, but I’m not going to reject a genuinely compatible person because mathematics committed a minor offence

And since this is MBTI dating, tell me your type — but please don’t just send four letters and expect Jung himself to carry the conversation.

If you message me, tell me:
Your age + country + MBTI + what you do + one thing you’re currently ridiculously interested in.

Bonus points if your answer makes me ask questions.
