37 (F4M) West Melbourne. Looking for something serious and long term.

About Me

I'm a 37-year-old woman living in Melbourne's west. I'm originally from the UK, neurodivergent, fairly introverted, and looking to build a happy and meaningful life with someone.

I'm grounded, practical, affectionate, creative and endlessly curious. I'm one of those people who can start researching a random question and emerge several hours later having acquired a completely unnecessary amount of knowledge about it. I have a bit of an archival/detective streak too—if something doesn't quite make sense, I'm liable to keep digging until I understand where it came from and how it actually works.

My interests are pretty broad and tend to rotate depending on whatever has caught my attention. Science, technology, history, politics and current affairs, psychology, philosophy, religion, AI, infrastructure, public transport, maps and generally understanding complicated systems are all recurring favourites. I particularly enjoy connecting ideas from completely different subjects and seeing where they lead.

There's also a fairly creative and silly side to me. I have a dry, sometimes absurd sense of humour and enjoy satire, making things, experimenting with ideas and turning something I've learned into something funny. I appreciate people who can discuss something genuinely serious one minute and then enthusiastically commit to a completely ridiculous premise the next.

I enjoy documentaries, D&D actual-play shows, occasional gaming, and comedy/panel shows like Utopia, Taskmaster and Have I Got News for You. I'm also interested in books, music and internet culture, although I'm much more likely to become fascinated by one particular thing than have encyclopaedic knowledge of an entire genre.

I love conversations where we can jump between serious subjects, ridiculous observations and whatever rabbit hole one of us has fallen into this week.

I'm quite home-oriented. While I enjoy going places and discovering things, I'm equally happy simply sharing a space with someone. You might be working from home while I'm pottering around doing my own thing, occasionally appearing to make tea, ask you a question, show you something funny or tell you about something I've discovered.

Physically, I'm fair-skinned with blue-grey eyes and wavy mouse-brown hair. I'm a larger person with a stocky/curvy build and a generally European appearance. I'm much more comfortable in practical, casual clothes than dressing glamorously.

What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for a genuine, committed, long-term relationship rather than something casual. I'd like this to become an actual in-person relationship rather than an endless online conversation.

I'm looking for someone kind, patient, emotionally mature and capable of communicating openly. Intellectual curiosity is particularly attractive to me. You don't need to share all my interests—in fact, I'd quite like you to introduce me to things I know absolutely nothing about—but I'd love someone who enjoys learning and has interests of their own that they're genuinely passionate about.

I seem to naturally click with people in IT, engineering, science, academia and other technical or analytical fields. That's definitely not a requirement, though. I just really like people who enjoy solving problems, understanding how things work and occasionally asking questions nobody else thought needed answering.

If you have some wonderfully niche subject you can enthusiastically explain to me for half an hour, I'm probably going to enjoy listening. I like people with their own perspectives and experiences, and I'd love someone who can introduce me to entirely new interests and ways of looking at the world.

I'd like a relationship where we're a team. That means enjoying the interesting parts of life together, but also being able to tackle ordinary things together: planning meals, doing the shopping, getting places, solving problems, working on projects and helping each other when one of us needs a hand.

I'm introverted, but you don't necessarily need to be. An extroverted partner could work perfectly well as long as you're comfortable with me sometimes staying home while you go out and socialise. I don't think a good relationship requires us to become one inseparable person with identical interests and social lives.

Ultimately, I'd like someone I can love, trust, be affectionate and intimate with, laugh with, learn alongside and eventually share the comfortable everyday parts of life with. Someone where conversation feels natural rather than obligatory, silence is comfortable rather than awkward, and we can be serious together without losing the ability to be completely ridiculous.

What I Offer

Curiosity. I genuinely want to know about you. Tell me what you're working on, what you've been reading, the strange fact you discovered yesterday, what weird thing you're currently obsessed with or why the project you've spent three hours debugging still refuses to work. I'll probably ask questions.

Loyalty. When I care about someone, I invest in them and their life. I'm looking for one person to build something lasting with rather than constantly wondering whether something better might come along.

Affection and companionship. I'm quite happy being someone's quiet background presence. We don't need to constantly entertain each other to enjoy being together. There's something lovely about both doing our own things and occasionally looking up to remember that your favourite person is sitting across the room.

Humour and silliness. Life is serious enough already. I like dry humour, absurd observations, running jokes and being able to be thoroughly unserious with someone I trust.

Practical partnership. I'll help you solve problems, research things, plan things, work things out and get through the mundane bits of adulthood. I'd like us to be able to depend on each other when necessary without either person having to carry everything.

A willingness to learn. I don't expect either of us to arrive as perfectly finished human beings. I'd rather have a relationship where we can communicate, learn each other's quirks and boundaries, admit when something isn't working, apologise when appropriate and figure things out together.

Someone to explore the world with. That might mean travelling somewhere new. It might mean visiting a museum, going for a drive, discovering somewhere around Melbourne, watching a documentary together or spending Sunday afternoon researching something completely ridiculous because one of us casually wondered about it over breakfast.

And sometimes it'll simply mean being in the same room doing completely different things and being happy that the other person is there.

If this sounds like the sort of relationship you're looking for, send me a message introducing yourself.

Tell me your age, roughly where in Melbourne you are, what you're looking for, what kind of stuff you do for work, and whether you have any hobbies, interests or wonderfully niche subjects you're capable of talking about for far too long.

Added bonus for pictures of any pet dogs/cats or plants. 🤍

37(F4M) Melbourne [West] – Looking for someone kind, curious and hoping for something real

# About me

Originally from the UK, now living in Melbourne's west. I'm fairly introverted, neurodivergent, and happiest when I'm learning something new or disappearing down an interesting rabbit hole.

I'm the sort of person who'll happily spend an evening talking about history, technology, AI, infrastructure, maps, psychology, or whatever documentary we've just watched. I follow politics because I find it fascinating, but I'm much more interested in understanding how the world works than arguing about it.

I enjoy YouTube documentaries, podcasts, the occasional game, D&D/Dimension 20, Taskmaster, and long conversations that somehow start with "Have you ever thought about..." and end two hours later.

I'm down-to-earth, affectionate, loyal, and value honesty and good communication. My idea of a good relationship is being each other's favourite person to message, spending quiet time together, and building a calm, supportive home life.

# What I'm looking for

A man roughly in his 30s to 40s who's emotionally mature, kind, and genuinely looking for a long-term relationship if we click.

Someone who's naturally curious about the world, enjoys conversation, and doesn't mind dating someone who gets excited about learning random things. Bonus points if you're in IT, engineering, or another technical field.

Ideally you're in Melbourne (or close enough that meeting up is realistic), communicate openly, and would rather build something meaningful than play games.

# What I offer

- A loyal and supportive partner.

- Someone who remembers the little things.

- Plenty of interesting conversations.

- Genuine curiosity about your interests, even if I know nothing about them.

- A relationship built on kindness, trust, laughter, and mutual respect.

If any of this sounds like your kind of person, send me a message telling me a bit about yourself—and maybe a random fact or topic you could happily talk about for an hour.

Won't say no to cute pics of plants/cats/dogs.

37(F4M) Looking for a lifelong partner out Melbourne's West.

About Me

I'm a 37-year-old woman living in Melbourne's west. Originally from the UK, I'm neurodivergent, endlessly curious, and currently focused on building a happy and meaningful future. I'd love to find someone to share that journey with.

Physically, I'm fair-skinned with blue-grey eyes and wavy mouse-brown hair. I have a stocky, curvy build and a generally British/Northern European appearance. I'm far more comfortable in practical clothes than glamorous ones, and I'd describe myself as approachable, down-to-earth, and genuine.

I'm the sort of person who can happily disappear down a research rabbit hole for hours. My interests include history, science, technology, politics, psychology, religion, philosophy, current affairs, public transport, infrastructure, maps, AI, and understanding how complex systems work. I enjoy documentaries, long conversations, D&D actual-play shows, the occasional gaming session, and learning something new every day.

I'm thoughtful, affectionate, loyal, and the sort of person who remembers the little things people tell me. I value honesty, kindness, curiosity, and treating people with respect.

What I'm Looking For

Someone kind, emotionally mature, patient, and capable of open communication.

I'd love to meet someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, has interests they're genuinely passionate about, and likes exploring ideas as much as everyday life. You don't need to share all of my interests, but I'd like someone who enjoys learning, growing, and discovering new things together.

I often seem to click with people in technical or analytical fields—IT, engineering, science, academia, and similar areas. It's not a requirement, but I do find it attractive when someone gets excited about solving problems, understanding how things work, or enthusiastically explaining a niche topic they've fallen in love with.

Ideally you're local to Melbourne, reasonably settled in life, and looking for a genuine long-term relationship rather than something casual.

What I Offer

- Loyalty and commitment.

- Honest communication.

- Genuine interest in your thoughts, ideas, and passions.

- Emotional support and encouragement.

- Intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.

- A warm, caring, home-oriented personality.

- A willingness to work through challenges as a team.

I'm looking for someone to build a life with—someone who values partnership, mutual support, shared adventures, and quiet everyday moments just as much as the big milestones.

If you've read this far, send me a message and tell me a bit about yourself: your age, roughly where you live, what you do, and what you're passionate about. Bonus points for dog or cat photos.

36 [F4M] Out West | Looking for a genuine connection.

#About Me

I'm a 36-year-old woman living in Melbourne's west. I'm neurodivergent, originally from the UK, and currently focused in part on building my life and creating a happy future. Will you share that future with me?

Physically, I'm fair-skinned with blue-grey eyes and mouse-brown wavy hair. I have a stocky, curvy build and a generally British/Northern European appearance. I'm much more comfortable in practical clothes than glamorous ones, and I'd describe myself as approachable, down-to-earth, and genuine.

I'm intensely curious about the world and can disappear down rabbit holes for hours. My interests include history, science, technology, politics, psychology, religion, philosophy, current affairs, infrastructure, public transport, maps, AI, and learning how complex systems work. I enjoy documentaries, long conversations, D&D actual-play shows, the occasional gaming session, and discovering something new every day.

I'm thoughtful, affectionate, loyal, and the sort of person who remembers the little things people tell me. I value honesty, kindness, intellectual curiosity, and treating people with respect.

#What I'm Looking For

Someone kind, emotionally mature, patient, and capable of open communication.

I'd love to meet someone who enjoys deep conversations, has interests they're passionate about, and is comfortable discussing everything from everyday life to big ideas. You don't need to share all of my interests, but I'd like someone who enjoys learning and exploring the world together.

I seem to naturally click with people who work in IT, engineering, science, academia, or other technical fields. There's something attractive about people who enjoy solving problems, understanding how things work, and getting excited about niche subjects. It's definitely not a requirement, but if you've ever lost an afternoon debugging something, building a homelab, writing code, or explaining a technical rabbit hole to a friend, we'll probably have plenty to talk about.

Ideally you're local to Melbourne, reasonably stable in your life, and looking for something genuine rather than casual.

I'm looking for a long-term relationship with someone who values commitment, mutual support, and building a life together.

#What I Offer

Loyalty and commitment.

Genuine interest in your thoughts, ideas, and passions.

Emotional support and encouragement.

A warm, caring home-oriented personality.

Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

Honest communication and a willingness to work through challenges together.

Someone who will happily spend hours talking about life, the universe, and whatever strange topic we've both become fascinated by this week.

If you've read this far, send me a message and tell me your age, where you live, what kind of thing you do for a living, any hobbies or interests. Also, I always love a cute dog or cat pic.

36 (F4M) Looking for something longlasting.

Hi there,

#About Me

I'm fairly introverted and a bit of a nerd — I have AuADHD, which means I can get very passionate about the things I'm interested in.

I'm currently studying education, and I'm qualified in cybersecurity (though I haven't worked in the field). I follow current affairs pretty closely and listen to probably too many podcasts. If you want someone to talk your ear off about the news, I'm your person.

In my free time I enjoy puzzles, brain-training games, comedy shows, audiobooks (big sci-fi fan — Dune, Foundation, Discworld), video essays, and D&D content like Critical Role and Dimension 20. My ideal weekend is a walk down the street for coffee, or staying in for board games and TV — ideally with someone to actually share it with.

I'm a European woman with glasses, and I'm aiming for what I'd describe as a chaotically organised home life.

#What I'm Looking For

Someone aged 20–50, ideally in or willing to travel to the western suburbs.

I'm looking for a respectful, loyal, long-term relationship — someone to settle down and build a life with. Stability and mutual support matter a lot to me. Ideally you're attentive, comfortable with technology, and don't mind doing things together every now and again.

Over time, I'd love to share a home and build a future together — possibly including a family.

#What I Offer

Loyalty, acts of service, and words of affirmation.

I'm happiest in a supportive, home-focused role — taking care of life admin, offering emotional support, and genuinely investing in your growth and success. I want to build something calm and stable together, even if the house is a bit of a mess.

Emotional connection, trust, and partnership come first for me. More than anything, I'm looking for someone to face life with — side by side, through whatever comes.

(Yes, I've posted here before, but, not much has come of it yet... Still hoping for "the one"...)
