Principles of finance

Is anyone else as scared as I am for the exam? Throughout this whole swotvac week I've spent most of my time studying for this fuckass subject since I don't understand anything no matter how hard I try. I go to every lecture, every tutorial, even consultations sometimes but I genuinely can't wrap my head around anything. The questions given in the tutorials and practice exams are so fucking different, I feel like it wasn't even covered in class. I am genuinely so scared that I'm going to fail the exam. The worst part is, I feel like everyone else finds this subject fine, considering that more than half the cohort got a H1 on the mst.

Any tips guys

What if i hypothetically printed out the entire principles of business law textbook to take into the exam

Has anyone done this before? Am i going to get caught/get in trouble by the exam invigilators? The pbl canvas page says that according to the law, I can only photocopy 10% of the textbook

Uni student scared that I'll never get a job

Background I'm a first year uni student, studying a bachelor of commerce at a go8 uni. Majoring in accounting/finance and I want to go into something finance related after graduation. But not the roles with super long hours like ib.

The culture at my uni and just going on linkedin just makes me feel so hopeless. Why is everyone I see a committee member of MULTIPLE commerce clubs (which are super hard to get into), have multiple jobs (especially related to the finance field already) and MULTIPLE internships? Why is everyone making a new linkedin post every week?

Are those people, with so many extracurriculars and so many connections better at getting jobs, especially grad roles? I've only been at uni for a semester and I already feel like I'm so behind compared to everyone, especially the fact that I'm an introvert and not great at talking to new people.

agm + nominating myself for roles

What is the process like when nominating yourself for a role in a club's agm? Did you have to make a speech? How many people competed for your role? Did you prepare for it or was it very spontaneous?

Have I been 'fired'?

I'm part time but I haven't been given a shift for the past 2 weeks. They have been given to some new employees. So, I'm a bit worried.

To be honest I'm not the best employee compared to the others working there.

Have I been fired? What should I do about this? Should I ask my manager (who manages the roster) about it and what should I ask?

To third year bcom students, around what percentage of people you know have had internships or have an offer for one in the future?

To people who have had internships, how many did you apply for until you got one? Is it crucial to be on a club committee/do many extracurriculars to get an internship?

By graduation, are there usually still students who have no internship experience?

Is it possible to acquire a grad role even with no internship experience?

Just a bit worried as a first year, I feel so cooked already
