It would be our first time going to Los Angeles with my partner from the EU. He wants a real beach holiday where we can swim and relax by the sea — would we get that kind of experience during the first two weeks of September?

I honestly have no idea what the beaches are like there, or how much of a proper “beach vacation” feeling it has compared to beaches in Europe, like in Croatia, Spain, or France — basically the kind of seaside places where you can actually swim and spend your days at the beach.

Hi everyone! I’m very new to this topic and I wanted to ask how well travel guides sell on Etsy. Is there actually demand for them?

I’ve traveled to nearly 30 countries, and traveling has basically been my whole life since I was little. I absolutely love planning trips and exploring new places. I’m open to all types of travel, but I mostly enjoy the backpacker style. Even at home, in my free time or after work, I’m usually researching where I could travel next on vacation or simply browsing maps out of curiosity.

Because of this, I’d love to start a travel guide shop on Etsy. As I mentioned, I do have a full-time job and I know it’s difficult to become successful on Etsy, but I feel like I have enough experience and passion for this topic. I would genuinely enjoy doing it even as a hobby.I also use my own travel photos and create everything without AI. Of course I get inspiration from different places, but I always start from a blank page and design everything myself using Canva.

Do you think that still has value in today’s world?
