Is it to late for sony to reverse no disc drive decision

I probably wouldn’t buy a PS6 regardless, but I found a petition to keep physical media that’s already over 385,000 signatures. Obviously, a petition alone probably isn’t enough to make Sony reverse its decision, but it got me wondering: at what point would Sony actually be too far into the PS6’s development to change from a digital-only design?
If PS6 is still a year or two away, is that genuinely enough time for Sony to change course and include a disc drive, or would the hardware design already be too far along by then? And what about the games themselves—how far in advance do Sony and publishers have to commit to manufacturing physical discs? Could Sony realistically reverse the decision if enough consumers pushed back, or would the manufacturing and supply-chain changes make that practically impossible?
Basically, I’m wondering where the point of no return actually is. The PS6 doesn’t seem like it would necessarily be locked into a digital-only design yet, but maybe I’m underestimating how early these decisions have to be made.

Why does Kyoya’s Metal Fury narrative make no sense? Discussion/question in general: why do so many people overlook this?

Had another ramble in the comment section thought it was good enough to put here what do you guys think do you agree did I possible even change some minds to something they didn’t see before would love to discuss 👍

“Ngl, Kyoya’s whole Metal Fury narrative sucks. And honestly, I don’t think most people realize how poorly his scaling and narrative are handled that season. People massively overrate Kyoya in Fury when, until the post-Nemesis statement, there really isn’t much supporting the idea that he’s still one of the absolute strongest bladers.
Before the Nemesis battle, Kyoya is not top 3, and I’d honestly never put him even top 5. If I had to rank him purely based on what we actually see, he’s probably somewhere around the top 13ish or so I don’t have a memorized list or anything. That sounds crazy considering how important Kyoya is, but look at his actual feats.
He starts off tying Gingka. Obviously, both of their Beys eventually evolve, so that battle isn’t a perfect indicator of their final Fury scaling, but Kyoya doesn’t exactly show some overwhelming superiority. Then he loses to Ryuga, loses to Aguma, and this is where things get really strange.
Not only does Kyoya suddenly become Aguma’s rival, but being portrayed as Aguma’s rival isn’t exactly an impressive status when you look at Aguma’s actual feats. It feels like the writers wanted to establish Aguma as a top-tier Metal Fight character by making him beef with Kyoya, without realizing that Kyoya’s biggest feat around that point was probably beating Johannes of all people.
And when you look at Aguma himself, he doesn’t exactly have some amazing records either. Aguma only wins the tag-team battle because he needs to be on Nemesis’s side for the revival. That’s basically plot necessity. Then he loses to base King and gets low-diffed by Tithi.
And I don’t think you can just say, “Kyoya only lost because of plot” and move on, because the show is actually portraying Kyoya and Aguma as relative to each other for a decent portion of the season.
Then there’s Dynamis. Dynamis pushes Kyoya and arguably only loses because he’s under the influence of Pluto’s Curse of Hades. But Dynamis has the same problem that a lot of the Legendary Bladers have: where are the feats?
Dynamis beats Ryuto and goes relative with an early base Gingka who hasn’t completely mastered Cosmic Pegasus yet. That’s basically it. So when Kyoya’s Fury scaling is built around being rivals like Aguma and competing with characters who themselves don’t have an abundance of impressive feats, the scaling starts getting really shaky.
And then we get to the Nemesis fight.
Almost every Legendary Blader gets some kind of significant interaction with Nemesis.
Dynamis is the one who helps cause Nemesis to visibly wobble.
King manages to hold Nemesis back for a while.
Kenta, after receiving Ryuga’s power and resonating with it, is able to fight Nemesis with resonance at a level where he’s actually relevant to the battle.
Gingka eventually defeats Rago/Nemesis through the combined power of the Bladers.
And honestly, I think Masamune piercing through Nemesis’s barrier was more significant than basically anything Kyoya did during that portion of the story.
I’m not saying Kyoya did absolutely nothing against Nemesis. He obviously participated in the battle. But if we’re talking about significant individual feats, he really doesn’t have one that stands out compared to some of the other Legendary Bladers.
And Kyoya isn’t the only Legendary Blader with this problem. A lot of them suffer from having barely any feats. But Kyoya especially shouldn’t be one of the Legendary Bladers who gets away with having almost no significant Fury feats when the entire series had spent so much time portraying him as Gingka’s rival.
That’s the biggest problem with his narrative.
I’ll give Fusion its credit. I can understand why people ranked Kyoya so highly there. By the end of Metal Fusion, I think it’s completely reasonable to put him above people like Phoenix and Doji and consider him one of the strongest bladers in the series at that point probably top 3 we can grant that. He actually earned that position through what we saw.
There are also legitimate discussions about whether Kyoya could have defeated Ryuga without the Dark Power amp. Regardless of where you land on that, I think that’s a worthwhile debate because there are actual arguments and feats to discuss.
But then Fury happens.
Kyoya spends basically the entire season without doing much to establish himself as Gingka’s equal or even close to it, and then at the very end we suddenly get:
“Oh yeah, by the way, I beat every single Legendary Blader. You’re the only one left, Gingka.”
WHERE IS THE NARRATIVE?
What happened?
How long did it take?
Did he beat each of them on the first try?
Did he have rematches?
How did he actually defeat them?
We don’t know.
It’s just an extremely ambiguous statement that is suddenly dropped at the end of the story, and we’re expected to use it to retroactively scale Kyoya above basically the entire Legendary Blader cast.
That’s what bothers me.
I’m not saying the statement is automatically false. If the anime tells us Kyoya defeated the other Legendary Bladers, then obviously that’s part of the canon. But there’s a massive difference between “Kyoya defeated them off-screen” and actually watching Kyoya demonstrate the level of power necessary to defeat all of them.
Especially when the rest of the season doesn’t really support that portrayal.
I’ll give Kyoya this: he used Rock Leone for two seasons and clearly improved tremendously during that time. So it’s not impossible that he became substantially stronger with Fang Leone after Nemesis. Maybe he trained extremely hard, learned everything he could from Leone, and reached another level after the Nemesis battle. I can accept that as a possibility.
But the narrative still needed to be consistent.
Kyoya was Gingka’s rival throughout Fusion and Masters. That relationship was one of the most consistent things about his character. Then Fury turns him into Aguma’s rival, despite Aguma himself arguably being one of the weaker Legendary Bladers, with maybe only Yuki clearly below him based on what we actually see.
That’s a massive downgrade narratively.
If Kyoya is supposed to remain Gingka’s rival, the story should actually show us why he’s still close to Gingka. Instead, we get an entire season where Kyoya has questionable performances, loses to multiple characters, has limited significant feats in general and against Nemesis didn’t do too much, and then gets an end-of-series off-screen statement that essentially says:
“Actually, he beat everybody.”
That’s not satisfying character progression.
Kyoya deserved a much better Fury narrative than that”.

Beyblade burst evolution world championships is it possible for a balder to loose 2 matches and make it to semi finals and finals?

Just wondering, since Valt wasn’t eliminated after losing to Shu, and Lui had lost twice—but the second loss was actually an elimination loss, right? I’ve only watched some of Turbo so far though, so no spoilers please 😭
