Ive got a real headscratcher here, but first let me tell the full story.
a few months ago, my iphone 15 pro fell 3 stories down into a hard surface, the screen was busted, no display, but it rang when called so the phone itself was fine.
I was abroad when that happened, so i needed my phone fixed asap, meaning i had to replace the screen with a third party generic screen, i technician did not reprogram the screen mainboard.
the screen was good enough, for some reason the phone wouldn't recognise wired headphones when plugged in (they're genuine, worked before the fall) but i scratched it up to the fall busting something
here's my issue, i can't add esims anymore, i know my iphone supports esims because i added an esim last year when i travelled out of country, and im not sure if its the fall or if its apple screwing with the phone because i used a third party screen.
the diagnostic screen says theres an issue with the esim hardware? can i fix that myself? im pretty tech savvy and I've fixed basicly every device I've owned, and if so, can you please tell me how?

ps. apples wont fix the esim issue by itself, they said they had to replace the screen too.
