I really like most of my switchbot products. The only thing that I really find that’s pretty annoying is your firmware upgrades. Why is it that your products don’t update properly and always seem to fail? I’d think this is pretty standard and should be something that should work well. Instead, I always have to try 50 times or recover the firmware to do a simple update. It’s really annoying.
I’m hoping that someone knows why my w200 keeps setting auto mode even when my manually turn the air off. Based on the logs, it looks like it has to do with detecting presence but I don’t want it to turn on the air just because someone is home.
Anyone know how to fix this? It even overrides my automations and it causes the thermostat to turn to auto even if the windows are open. It also caused my heater to come on last night because we slept with the windows open.
My automations for the W200 aren’t working at all. Am I don’t something wrong? When I hit preview it works but other than that it doesn’t.
I'm thinking about moving on from my Ecobee thermostat to get the Aqara W200 but I have one feature I cannot live without. With Ecobee, if you have a subscription and their window sensors, your ac/heater will pause if someone opens a window or door for more than approx 5 mins. I would love to move to the W200 so I can cancel the subscription but I'd like to know if they have anything like this currently? I know they updated it to include multi room temp reading like Ecobee which was my other issue. Any other things that you guys dislike?
