Hello everybody, my dad and I are restoring his 76 corvette. Had a question about a fuel sending unit filter sock. Pictured below is the factory one and its replacement. Can someone confirm if this is the correct part? Its not side mounted like original sock is. Bought it off corvette central

A few days ago my dad gave me his 76 corvette. I currently have an m4 comp that I just bought back in May. The car has been great but its kinda boring / effortless to drive.
Im thinking of selling the m4 and restoring the vette to a solid casual driving car (id probably put 1200-1400 miles on yearly). My daily beater s a honda civic so no worried about having a car for 5-6 months to fix. Guess the question is am I crazy?
Recommendations on leather cleaners? Im getting silverstone full leather. Curious what products everyone using
