The Evil Royals arc was the best storyline of the show. Too bad Prue didn't live up to it. It should've lasted up to one season instead of half an ep, with both Phoebe and Cole being pulled out. Leo spilled the beans when said "whoever kills the Source, becomes it". They should've known Cole took it

The Evil Royals arc was the best storyline of the show. Too bad Prue didn't live up to it. It should've lasted up to one season instead of half an ep, with both Phoebe and Cole being pulled out. Leo spilled the beans when said "whoever kills the Source, becomes it". They should've known Cole took it

when he saved the sisters and Leo in the episode where the Source freed the Hollow.

Leo should've defended Cole, the human, as he had the knowledge of it, unlike the sisters.

Also, Phoebe should've faced the Trial for crossing over the other side and suffer more than just a temporary suspension, like in later season.

She and Cole should've been forced to prove themselves to the Elders to deserve a chance to be back to the Good side, instead of Phoebe being back to business just for the sake of being a Charmed one by blood.

The show quickly switched to Piper and Leo drama, when Phoebe and Cole case was far more deserving of action on Elders' part.

Piper and Leo did nothing THAT wrong, Phoebe on the other hand has endangered the whole Good-Evil balance by crossing over and making a child with the Source of all Evil and feeding it with a centuries of power of Good magic. She should've paid a higher price and Cole deserved a chance to be back into the family as he only became evil while saving his loved one and her family, including Leo.

Cole's ability to pull any of Charmed Ones should be studied. That demon was really too good to vanquish ! A family treasure nonetheless :D

Piper&Leo wedding was a big family deal before, during and after, while these 4 never had a single conversation and barely shared the same space in a room. As if Piper was the only daughter that mattered. Also, Phoebe was the one who never knew their mother, why wouldn't she want the same treatment⬇

from Elders as Piper did, giving the three of them equally fought the evil all these years (we keep the hypotheses that Source's magic shield the insight, so for the Elders, Cole was just a mere mortal, otherwise wtf, you crushed Piper's first wedding, but you kept this one running ?).

Also, who were all these people of all ages at Phoebe&Cole's wedding ? Phoebe had life in New-York, yes, but she was unemployed, then a student in San-Francisco + Cole said Darryl and Leo are the only ones he knows (which is also strange, even for a loner, but who still hanged around for 117 years nonetheless!).

It would've been nice to have a family-rooted episode before Phoebe's wedding where these 4 characters interact before all the hell broke loose.

Like that episode of fairytales, where Paige had to connect with Grams and break the ice, it was a nice storyline, knowing Paige never had any previous relationship with her, comparing to the other two.

I'm so angry, someone abusively reports any of my listings as soon as I post something (checked my personal data, 4 reports in 3 seconds), I've been restricted 2 times for 3 days and Vinted Support just keeps my appeal open until the restriction is over. Has someone else faced this ??

Basically, I can't do anything but wait until the next restriction expires. Did anyone had this situation ? I tried to appeal, but they just wait util it expires on its own.

I wonder if Cole let it slip at the family reception that he was the one to ruin the wedding the first time Leo and Piper tried to get married.

The show's philosophy contradicts itself within 2 scenes that follow each other in the same episode. Leo states "you have to voluntarily choose to be evil to be considered evil" and next Phoebe says "no matter his intensions, Cole is genetically evil and he can never change it". Double standards.

I'm in love with the satin top Piper's classmate, Missy, wore to their school reunion party (Season 3). I wish Y2K nostalgia translated into having more sophisticated pieces like that accessible in retail, instead of the polyester-mania. I searched for it on every thrift platform with no luck. 🥲

Piper should've picked Dan.

Reason why I skip Season 2 is that this whole love triangle was absolutely filler, forced and insufferable.

I get that the show is a bit detective / a bit soap opera, but we've seen Prue-Andy / Phoebe-Cole - they absolutely can write love stories in a way that's not annoying.

I still don't understand why Dan and Jenny were introduced (probably because Ted King quit and they've told themselves "we need another 'will they, won't they' side story" ?)

- Leo was introduced very early in S1 and by the end of it Piper already cries on his death bed and saves him, proving her feelings for him weren't surface level and she loves him.

- In the episode 2 of S2 they travel to the future and show Piper married / divorced to Leo (even though writers later understood their mistake and made Piper married to Dan in the past to "equal" the odds of the outcome).

But what's even more frustrating is that Dan actually was everything she seeks in a man - normal, patient, dependable, no problems with communication, always took initiative and skillful.

Every single argument Piper had with Leo since S2 - it's because Leo wasn't something that Dan was. Even worse - Piper admits it and articulates it in Leo's face in like episode 1 of season 2.

The only thing Leo has to reply 'but will he accept you're a witch ?' It's a lame argument and it sets a bar for Piper's man so low, that literally any warlock can fill the application to be a Piper's husband.

Piper wanted a normal relationship where a man can tell her where he is, what he does and with who - Dan was that.

He didn't make Piper go dig his personal files to find out he's married and his wife is still alive.

Piper wanted a normal wedding and a normal pregnancy with her husband being around and helping her to prepare herself for motherhood. All of that Dan could and was willing to give her, but she picked a lane where she'll suffer the most + Elders opposing and complicating this union to its last day.

I also don't buy Dan rejecting Piper's witchiness, it's Andy 2.0 cause the actor was quitting the show and character's storyline needed to be terminated, a pure aftermath of the break up. When you truly love someone, you accept the ugly parts too. It's a lazy out, cause 'oh, now they really can't be together".

Sisters' father was a mortal and not a magical man and just because he left, doesn't mean Dan would.

The next episode after Piper and Dan finally break up (start of Season 3, where screenshots of my post are from), the nagging and bitching start right away - they come back and argue about how they can't work as a couple, something they both diagnosed a season ago, at the start of Season 2.

If it wasn't an ultimate obsession of writers to rewrite their mother's story with her white lighter and 'prove everyone around wrong about witch + white lighter can't work' - well they did exactly the opposite.

Their marriage gave the Elders a permanent control over the sisters. When they didn't like something the Charmed ones were doing - they took Leo away, sending Piper into hysteria, so she makes the two others sisters bend to their will.

Even Phoebe and Cole had more freedom in their relationship, despite crossing the borders of good / evil.

Rewatching Season 2 made me realize Cole introduction to the show was a pure replay of the second Bane episode. Seducing a (different) sister, blackmail from a superior demon, mausoleum + cemetery scenes, putting sisters' bond to the test and finally pulling an ex-criminal away from the evil.

My favorite Charmed men. I dont know what kind of beef Holly had with his character, but Andy is a walking green flag ! He gave up his career and his life to preserve the love of his life, her sisters and the greater good. Its such a shame we never got to see these 2 working together ! It'd be epic

No Alyssa shade intended, I've just seen these pictures for the first time and I felt that the demo cast looked so fine and also very much like sisters too. We will never know, but maybe beyond the pilot episode, this trio could've done a great job too. Just a thought, I do like Alyssa as Phoebe.

We've had an episode about Leo's past, it's too bad we didn't have a one about Cole's, especially since the show gave us details about his background - his father was a good human who did a lot of good things for his community and his mother was a demon.

Kinda like Phoebe and Cole, gender-reversed.

How his parents met ? Why did his mother kill his father, what happened after ?

It's too bad this wasn't developed, it was definitely more interested than that Ice Cream Wagon episode, for example.
