I see alot of posts since the announcement saying I hope they bring X back or I hope they don't have X in the game. Even quite a few saying I hope they have X from another game.

I think the likely hood is that this game is going to attempt it's best to reinvent the MMO. To do this, most of the gameplay and content and systems are likely to be completely new.

It's likely not to tread on the toes of guild wars 2 at all and to do that, it's not going to be a traditional mmo in many ways at all.

I'm hoping we will all be surprised and say the following

"Wow, why hasn't another game thought of this already that's genius"

I like the fact that Colin has focused on Anet solving player problems with MMOs.

I think this is a great approach not only to guild wars but to any businesses creating a product by solving problems as it's focus.

Ironically one of the biggest problems with MMOs right now is the fact that they have become increasingly less social inside the game. And most of the social features have moved outside of the game.

Guild chats are quieter, local chat is not used as frequently. Most people just talk in guild discords or community ones to find groups.

Id be interested to see if this is a problem they are looking at to solve and if so, what do you think they could do about it?

Better social features such as guild calenders, voice chat?

Performance/Bugs Asside.

The biggest dissapointment in this game is the missed opportuntity to improve on the last game and add some extremly cool unique features into this setting.

I want to be going through dark tunnels to clear them out to stop points being overrun. Or on the other side, setting up traps and defending tunnels.

I want to be looking out for traps and dissarming them, pulling teammates out of holes.

There is so many unique parts of the war that could have been expressed in an extremely fun way through a game. And instead we basicaly have a DLC man from the old game with everything jus worse.
