Hey Everyone, I thank you all for the support and advice I wanted to give an update!

1:Contacting my bank was somewhat useless, Zelle basically treats getting scammed as handing cash over to someone even when i provided a police report Edit:some people didn’t like I provided my venmo to help recoup the 650$, I understand and I’ll take The L on the loss of money, not sure on how to delete photos but don’t send me money

2:i contacted the cops immediately after i realized it was a scam and filed a police report I’ve given the cops updates including her family address, social media accounts, her job and school so we will see what happens

3:her job is investigating this, i went in person to the prospect park west office, they could not give me a conclusive answer on what will happen to her, even if shes arrested

4:She’s deleted all of her social media, i am honestly so willing to forgive and forget if she just calls me and apologizes and gives me my money back but she seems to think 650$ is worth all of this trouble

So I was going around replying to different Craigslist listings because I urgently had to move out my apartment and needed a sublet for the rest of the month, I text this girl and she seems cool enough and she’s a real person so I’m like for sure we meet at my job she hands me the keys but I was so busy with a friend flying in, I didn’t go and see the house in person first and I was just being overly trusting
Long story short, she copied keys to an apartment she was subletting from and thought the people would be out of town, turns out they weren’t I find all of this out when I get there, she blocks my number and keeps my money
Luckily from her phone number and her name on the Zelle payment I was able to get a ton of info on her
Her ig is @sincerelycloves she works at parks and rec the prospect park location and she’s getting her ged with a cuny program
Also in the second pic you’ll see she’s in front of the same paintings as are in the photos of the apartment
She also changed her number after I was blowing up her phone

Edit:she changed her number and deleted her instagram but her tiktok is clov333rs, her snap is catlovr98 and her facebook is clover Beatriz Argudo
