Is John a good name.

I want to name my son John but everyone is telling me it’s an old man’s name and making fun of me.

I usually wouldn’t tell my family the names I’m considering until he’s here but my family wanted to make personalised bits for the baby.

I’m upset and I don’t know whether to just start looking for a new name, even tho I don’t really have any backups as I was so set on John Alexander. I like it because it’s traditional and short and easy to spell. I know it’s an “old” name and there’s more older men with this name than kids but I would definitely put it on the same page as Arthur, William, Theodore etc and those are still pretty popular today
