For me, I’ve always treated IMVU like a multiplayer version of The Sims. In some ways, I guess it still is, but over the past few years I’ve found myself roleplaying by myself more and more.
So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in becoming friends and roleplaying together! I’m not really interested in ERP, medieval roleplay, or anything like that. I’m more into friend RP, family RP, and things along those lines. I’m not looking to adopt or be adopted, though.
I do have an Instagram for my celebrity roleplay, but I barely ever interact with people on there because it can be pretty parasocial. Some people treat IMVU like a full-time job, and I’ve even seen people get doxxed over roleplay music, which is just way too serious for me.
I mostly enjoy video editing and photo editing, so I use my Instagram to share those and kind of post from the pov of my avatar.

Is there a VIP subscription/ tier i can subscribe to in order to have more than three people in shop? probably a silly question but i’m hoping there is some way. thank you in advance

Bratz the movie (when they start high school)
Bratz: Starrin’ & Stylin’
Bratz: Fashion Pixiez (since there’s no mention of the magazine yet)
Bratz: Rock Angelz (where they create the magazine)
Bratz: Forever Diamondz (after they’ve become more famous)
Bratz: Genie Magic (because they’re already close friends with Byron)
Bratz: Go to Paris the Movie
Bratz: Desert Jewelz

Somewhere before Rock Angelz comes Girlz Really Rock, since they don’t have the magazine yet, or at least don’t mention it. I know bratz movies aren’t generally canon, but we don’t have consistent bratz lore unfortunately, like does Cloe have a dad, or a bank account? We’ll never know. Her house in the cartoons seemed Pretty Bouje’. My headcanon is, she was probably well off as a kid (as seen in Bratz Kidz Sleepover), then maybe her parents got separated & her mom started working for Meredith (as seen in the live action), then maybe somewhere along the line, her mom gets a better job, that’s why her house is so nice in the cartoons.

been a player since 2014, i never realised how one search can pull up one on one chats i’ve had with people. all my irl siblings play imvu as well and it makes me physically ill thinking about all our private convos in private rooms and how they’re just one click away. they’re not bad malicious conversations, just private, like probably us discussing irl stuff when we were unable to call etc.

with imvu still being one of the biggest social games even to this day, i’m fucking shocked at how little they have invested in the security of their users! just yesterday i read a story on here about someone getting scammed terribly, and how someone off of imvu was calling their irl number pretending to be a staff member.

if there is any staff in this sub, kindly please do try to implement appropriate security measures. this is no way, so many players use their credit cards to make purchases, and i’m sure one day that information will also get leaked on some find gu esque website
