I'm in Graz now and have travel health insurance through Axa Schengen (today is my last day of it).

Last night(in the evening) I was drinking from this bottle of romerquelle water and after drinking half the bottle I noticed a small chunk if glass near the cap is missing(like a rice size).

I don't know if I have symptoms cause stomach pains are common for me because of gastritis.

I don't know if I drunk the glass piece or if it was just broken beforehand.

Should I go to the ER?

If my travel insurance refuses to pay will I get charged ?

Update :Back from the ER ,no test performed the doctor said it will easily pass through the digestive track. No charge for the doctor visit. For someone from Albania that kind of quality is unheard of.

I have tried honey from Stoked Beekeeping and it was amazing a few years ago but I don't know if they still have the same quality plus I would love to try other brands.

I may need Marpe/Mse and I'm afraid and honestly maybe my fear is stupid and irrational but what I'm afraid of is:

A force is applied to widen the maxilla and the split happens.

Meanwhile the face bones(zygoma etc) are sturdy and "counter react" to this force,not wanting the split to happen.

However the expander is applying enough force for the maxilla to split and new bone to form.

While the new bone forms and maxilla is wider,what happened with the force applied?

Is it "contained" in facial bones/sutures forever?

Are the sutures/bones in your face under "pressure/force" constantly after new bone formed in maxilla and made it wider?

I feel like if we take something as sturdy and non-changing as the adult human skull and try to widen it from the inside, parts of it,like for example the sutures in zygomas will be forever under "COLLAPSING" pressure (except maxilla where the bone formed) and will try to go back to what they was before while having no space to go to since now new bone was formed and maxilla is bigger.

That's 100% a stupid worry😂😅 and the smart people who created the expanders knew what they were doing.

But it still lingers in back of my mind especially when I hear relapse happens.

Like why is relapse happening if no "COLLAPSING" force or pressure is present??

How are those expanders viewed by most orthodontists?

Are they considered a real treatment for narrow palate or are viewed like some pseudo-treatment with not enough evidence and with very risky side effects?
