i showed up to my stress test, sat in the waiting room and felt my heart race. i woke up and i was in a wheelchair and i had fainted twice. my heart rate was so high they called an ambulance. currently in the hospital
i guess i failed the test lol
One month ago I took a 10mg edible and felt my entire body go numb and my heart rate went to 180. I’ve been hospitalized 3+ times since for fainting spells that feel similar to that one night. I’ve never fainted before that incident. All the doctors did tons of testing and just think my pots is flaring up. They gave me metoprolol for a high heart rate and it’s helping. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m worried I messed up my nervous system permanently. I’ve since stopped taking edibles completely
I’m waiting to call my doctor but I started taking Metoprolol Tartrate 12.5 mg twice a day for a high heart rate due to POTS. I noticed right before I fall asleep and during sleep my blood pressure goes to about 100/45. It’s completely normal during the day but I was wondering if that’s safe. I just felt some mild dizziness and weakness during that time.
me and my friend tried going to a bar the other night and had an interaction with the bartender that threw us off. when we walked in she immediately glared at us and asked for ids. we gave them to her and she held them up and looked at them for 5 minutes and finally asked what we wanted to drink. i asked for a vodka and coke and she said “that’s a weird drink” and walked off.
she came back 5 minutes later and asked to see our ids again and asked my friend if she could show her graduation pictures. she showed her both her highschool and college graduation photos and we told her our ages which is 22 and 25. we asked what was wrong and she said the background of my friends id photo was a shade of blue she’s never seen before and that it was fake but it was real. she wanted us to leave and said she was uncomfortable serving us so we left. we’ve never had this happen out of all the places we’ve been too.
i feel like the bartender was just rude but is there anything we can do so this doesn’t happen again?
