Numbness in shin

Im 8 months post op. I have no feeling in my shin. Its just been like this ever sense the surgery. Ive told my doc and my PT they both said it could take a while. Theres a possibility that it could just stay that way. Anyone else have something similar happen to them from surgery?

Swelling

I am 7 months post opt acl and both miniscuses. I feel my leg muscles are getting stronger. I go to the gym about 4 times a week. And PT once every other week. My biggest issue i have is swelling/stiffness. Once I stretch and start working out the stifness loosens up. But holy cow the swelling tho. No matter what I do. I ice as much as possible. Keep my leg elevated when I can. Try bending it around while im sitting to help the fluid move around. When im at the gym stretching if I place my hand on my knee I can feel the fluid swoshing around. It geeks me out lol.

So im just asking from other peoples experiences. What do you do for swelling in you knee?? Any supplements or creams? Any type of streching? Im open to anything.

Comeing back from injury.

Thought i would post this in new skaters. Im just starting to step back on the the board after acl surgery. Im following my PTs orders and only pushing around. No tricks no popping my board yet.

Its got me thinking though once I start to pop my board and do some tricks would I even be able to do them. To anyone who has gone through a similar situation what was trying to learn re learn your tricks like? Did they just come back with in a day or soo from skateing? Or was it rlly like trying to relearn for the first time?

Fluid drain in knee?

Anyone get fluid drained? Im 6 months post OP from ACL but I am also 3 months post OP from scare tissue removal. The tissue removal wasnt bad my knee was able to bend soo much better the day of surgery. My biggest issue is the swelling I still get in my knee. My PT thinks it might be a good idea for me to get the fluid drained from my knee and get a cortizone shot. Has anyone had this happen to them before??

Any skateboarders that have come back from torn acl?

Who has had torn ACL/miniscus surgery and once fully recovered started skateing agien? Obviously I won't skate until my physical therapist thinks im ready. Im just curious how did you start to get back into to it? Did you start by only pushing just cruising around for a few weeks before even popping any tricks? Also did your range of motion fully Come back?

I had to get two surgeries. My 2nd surgery was mostly just scare tissue removal that I had back in early april. Ever sense then my ROM has been comeing back soo much easier. I also still fear I will not reach full ROM tho. I had my ACL surgery back in December. I feel like im geting close to where I could maybe just push around for a few on my board and its getting my excited. Im just looking for other skaters experience with this recovery and what getting back on the board was like for them? I haven't skated sense last july when I tore my shit and I still think about skateing everyday 😭

My cat threw up on Tuesday and had a worm in it. I just ironically happen to already have a vet appointment for him this friday. But as of wensday he has already threw up twice agien. I haven't seen any worms but he barley touches his food. It is currently 3am thursday morning. Hes usually pretty good on letting me sleep and not rlly waking me up untill 4ish. But even then when he wakes me up he kinda just leaves the room for a few and lets me go back to sleep. Ever since I went to bed at 11pm hes just been keeping me awake. Almost like hes trying to get my attention. I just cleaned up his puke. Should I call the vet and see if I can get him in when they open? Or should I just wait until my scheduled appointment on Friday?
