Rank Diamond

My son is a current Bear Den (going into 3rd grade)
He has been in since kindergarten and earned his Rectangular Lion Patch badge.
He has since ranked up Tiger and Wolf, looking at other kids I see, they have either bobcat patch or a diamond Lion patch. He has neither of these.
Will he not have the opportunity to complete his rank diamond?

Edit: I think I now understand what happened.
They retired the bobcat patch, replaced it with a beltloop and for one year only, the kids will not have earned a complete diamond.
I do understand that he earned lion and we can buy the diamond lion to put up there.

It seems like a slight mess up by BSA when retiring bobcat to not have offered it to the kids who earned the rectangle lion so they can complete their diamond legitimately with the ranks and patches they were presented when they earned them.

Help with what my son hears with his Hearing Aid

My son (age 8) has a single hearing aid as his ear drum is damaged. He has an oticon mini bte.
He has only had it a few days and there are a few times we are in loud places and he is complaining that it seems really loud. The audiologist said they are adjustable but do not recommend making any adjustments for pediatric patients.
Overall he is eager to wear it and he loves being able to hear normally, which I am very happy about… what is happening in loud environments? What should we do if we know it’s going to be loud (think kids birthday party)?

Any other advice or recommendations welcome!

I mostly DIY things but this project might be a bit above my ability.

Looking to hire a company to pour self Leveling concrete. Located in western Suffolk.

I have a 12’x16’ Den area that is a slab on grade. I want to install a high quality glue down engineered hardwood but the current slab is not flat and has high/ low spots up to 3/4” from highest to lowest.

My math shows about 30 bags of self lever would be necessary to flatten and level the floor.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good company that actually does this? I’ve seen too many disaster installs of a bunch of “flooring company’s” mixing in 5 gallon buckets and it coming out like garbage.

Speaking to some of my friends in the trades they said the legit companies have big high speed mixers and pour many bags at a time in commercial settings.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations or suggestions.
