Anyone stain their wood surface mini? What type of stain? Was it slippery?

looking to make it weather resistant currently I use a tarp to keep it dry but it’s a pain taking it on and off and securing it. Just want to do some stain so it lasts a little longer. main concern is not slipping a lot

Help with deck prep staining bluster

Cedar deck. Never stained. 8 months seasoned. Washed with garden hose. Cleaned with Pittsburgh deck cleaner (alkali). A white residue (pic 1) remained so I tried 1:1 Vinegar to rinse. No change. Ive sanded some off but it seems to be leaving the wood rough. (pic 2) Will this matter as far as staining? Where did the preo go wrong? Any fixes? Thanks.

Plains of Fascination (90sTapes). Link in comments to playlist

hop culture of mid-90s Canada, Plains Of Fascination was a posse that embodied raw creativity and grassroots rhythm. Emerging from Toronto’s rap circles, the group carved out a place on college radio and within local circuits with their gritty, beat-driven sound. Their most enduring legacy is the 1996 album "Join The Ranks", which features fledgling vocal contributions from a young Nelly Furtado

Azeem. Garage Opera

2000 Heratik Records. 8 tracks plus 8 instrumentals.

My only complaint is I wish he put out more stuff. This is Bay Area gold. But I respect not having a lot of filler.

Azeem “ started out with a group called Telefunken, which was picked up by Om Records in the mid 90’s. Azeem’s big break came when he battled his way to a spot on the Lollapolooza Tour sharing the stage with George Clinton, A Tribe Called Quest, and the Beastie Boys. This in turn led to a PBS special, two books, and a title for the third best performance poet in the country. From there, he hooked up with Michael Franti and co-wrote and toured with the infamous Spearhead. Azeem eventually embarked on his solo career and released two seminal projects Garage Opera and Craft Classic.” -Wide Hive Records

I have been using a tarp for protection for about 5 years. The surface is unpainted. The tarp lasts a 2-3 years but can be a pain to take on and off and secure. Also the cost is now about the same. for tarp vs skatepaint.

Anyone used skatepaint? My main concern is with regular paint is slipperyness. The ramp is sanded birch and requires 93a or softer not to slip.
