Depleted battery question

I unplugged my trailer from shore power for a few days and forgot to plug it back in. Went out there and obviously batteries were dead as interior lights were super dim. Ask my husband to plug it back in to shore to recharge and see this is were it gets scary. After a couple of hours I noticed a rotten sulfur smell, not equating it to the trailer or batteries went on with my day. A few hours later 10pm, fire department rolled up knocked on the door asking if we smelled anything weird. Husband said he had and they continued through the hood looking for the smell. 15 mins later gas company came knocking, husband gets up and he and the gas company traced it to the trailer and the batteries. Thank god I didn't burn the hood down. Question is it because the batteries dried out or what would cause that. I've had depleted batteries before without them frying like this.

Can someone explain this

Can someone offer insight into this price history I found on Zillow. Are these made up numbers?

Monthly premiums ~2k for me and spouse. Think I should divorce to save money.

I pay about 2k a month in premiums for my employer sponsored insurance. It includes my husband and myself. Zero deductible, 25k out of pocket max. If it was just me the cost would be ~300 a month. I've checked to see what he could get on the open market in California and it's about the same. I've ran the numbers if we get divorced and start filing single. His costs would be about $300 a month on open market. Should we divorce, feels like we would save money. Ffs.

California rental questions

I've been renting the home I'm in for 20 years the rent is $982. Crazy cheap. Landlord is getting older and the daughter just came to us and wants to raise the rent to 2500 a month. I know legally she can't(I've checked). I'm willing to pay more but not 2500. There have been no improvements inside for those 20 years as well. How would you handle it. I don't have a a lot of options the market is crazy.
