I spent 45 minutes assembling the baby bouncer backwards and didn't notice
We got a baby bouncer delivered yesterday and I decided this was finally a piece of baby gear simple enough that I could assemble it without waiting for my husband.
Four legs, fabric seat, a couple screws. Easy.
About 45 minutes later I was sitting on the floor furious because the instructions clearly showed the seat leaning backward, while mine looked like it was designed to launch a baby directly toward the ceiling.
I took it apart twice.
My husband came home, stared at it for maybe ten seconds, picked the entire thing up and turned it around.
I had assembled it perfectly.
I had just been sitting on the wrong side of it for nearly an hour.
He didn't even laugh immediately, which somehow made it worse. He just said, very carefully, "Do you want me to make dinner?"
The bouncer is now finished and I am no longer accepting engineering assignments.
