I also have era correct BLUE, BLACK and YELLOW ropes and will use the correct blue and yellow self adhesive vinyl for the turnbuckles.

If I cant get these printed as stickers I may use the cage holes to make a ring skirt instead.

I tried removing the center decal but the circle bit in the middle didnt look great so attached a new decal and put the vinyl straight over it. Yes it show but its a small trade off.

The canvas is now the correct or borderline correct shade of blue wcw was using for its canvas in 91-93 ish

The childish stickers I removed by using antiseptic wipes to soak them scraping off with my thumb nails then using glass cleaner and and antiseptic wipes rubbing clockwise to remove the residue left behind.

Preface, I am not interested in collecting toys or anything so this may be common knowledge i simply want to learn something. What is the deal with this toy? Were there two variants? Because the real ring from this period featured alternating blue/yellow corners. Yet the toy seems to have had only blue turnbuckles.

Im lead to believe that the US version had yellow corners but I have never seen one which actually has the yellow corners on youtube.

Infact the boxed versions on youtube ive seen show yellow turnbuckles on the box but the toy itself will always actually have blue turnbuckles.

Did the one with yellow turnbuckles ever actually exist or is it just uk/us box variation?
